Battletech - Also known as Trannytech

Yeah, but that's some magnificent facial hair on him. He's fat, ugly, and an omnicidal sociopath like many trannies, but he's too well-groomed.

He probably polishes his head to get that level of shine, and that is a very well-trimmed moustache. No tranny, F2M or M2F, would be so impeccably groomed.
I see your argument about grooming, and raise you just how fucking greasy he looks. Dude was definitely RPing a catgirl on the Star League's HPG Comnet in between getting way too close to an underage boy and getting him to stop listening to his legal guardians.

So yeah. Fat, ugly, sociopath, greasy and a groomer. That's ancient troon representation in BattleTech right there.

Not sure if anyone visits the Battletech on 4chan tg, but recently one of the writers from the Battletech Trans fangzine has come out and admitted that their story called "Masquerade" is metaphor for Transgender Individuals.

This Marena person is apparently in an actual sourcebook, dunno if that text was from it or not, and was a washout from the warrior caste who made good as a merchant. However I can't comprehend the Falcons giving the first shit about yas qween Blackness; she was a test tube baby like all the rest of them. If they preferred white babies, she'd have been one. They're a fucking genetic engineered society, race as a concept would be child's play for them to edit. Unless like the gene tech on the day her batch came up was all, "lol gonna make this one black as a joke" or just drunk, there was no random chance involved in her creation. The clanners don't play that way.
Shes cannon and in the Tamar's Rising sourcebook. She is leading a splinter faction of Falcons that are focusing on trading battlemechs and are disgruntled about the Warriors but beyond that the whole being underestimate because shes a black woman is the most contradictory thing about clan society.

Her being a merchant though, thats spot on. If they had just left it at that it would have made more sense.

Too bad she was "born" into the Falcons. She would have been a perfect fit for the Sea Foxes.

I bet these authors would never try their hand on a story about oppressed males in the Magistracy of Canopus. Because that would be contradicting their own world view

>Be some random dude minding my business
>Fancy noblewoman comes along and tells me I'm now her husband
>Sounds pretty good at first since I'm a Periphery poorfag
>Turns out she's into hardcore BDSM and my role as her husband is nothing but a cum supply so she can have an heir
>Spend all my time being raped or locked in a box in a gimp suit
>Hope the Star League reforms so they can launch another Reunification War to free me
>I finally die years after I should have thanks to Canopian medicine keeping me alive despite what she does to me

and so it begins.
As if the Associated Press' stated logic to capitalize "black" but not "white" isn't batty enough, I never even considered the further lunacy of its application on an expansive fictional universe such as Battletech. So across thousands of worlds and disparate factions, everyone of a sufficient melanin level has a shared history and culture, but that definitely does not apply to those without melanin.

Speaking of which, considering Kurita and Liao, are Asian characters in Battletech actually referred to as Asian? Or is the race referred to in a different way than the name of a Terran continent?

To add more irony to the situation, there's barely anyone who can trace their ancestry to Americans in the setting. In a meta sense because the writers were American and wanted more exotic cultures to play with, and in-universe because most colonies founded by Americans were close to Terra and those got absolutely plastered during the Terran Alliance civil war, the Amaris Civil War, and then the First and Second Succession Wars.

The practical upshot is that anyone black in BattleTech is likely to not African-American but of actual African ancestry. You know, the guys who tend to hate woke politics.

If you're going to shove race politics where they don't belong at least try and follow the lore somewhat, its retarded having trueborn Clanners be racist to each other. Have some redneck in the Draconis March call her a Kuritan nigger instead.

I liked that one Kuritan nigger whos name I can't recall.

Minobu Testuhara. So much of a samurai he offed himself after failing in his orders to eliminate the Wolf's Dragoons on Misery. His old man, Minoru Tetsuhara, was so much of a samurai he basically just shrugged and said Grieg was within his rights as Warlord to give the orders that ended in his son's death, and was regarded by Takashi Kurita as the truest adherent to bushido in the entire Combine, even above himself.

Man was an honest to God Afro Samurai.

Interestingly, the founder of the Tetsuhara family was a man of African descent named Jackson Hayes, who changed his name when he swore allegiance to House Kurita.

But yeah. Minobu was hardass samurai. Interestingly, despite his deep respect for the man, his protege Michi Noketsuna went on a years long quest to avenge his mentor. Noketsuna whacked Grieg Samsonov, and came holy-shit-close to getting Takashi Kurita himself (and only called it off because the ISF decided to stick their oar in, the dumb fucks).

Shame, since vendetta is a time-honored Japanese tradition. The infamous 47 Ronin had been forbidden to seek revenge for their master on account of their master being put to death for the very serious crime of assaulting a court official, and were widely considered bitches for not offing the man responsible despite that. Public support for them sneaking into the man's house and killing him forced the shogun to allow seppuku instead of execution for their crimes, and a man who had beaten the shit out of their leader for being a useless, dishonorable drunk (which he had adopted as a disguise while planning the whole thing) wound up atoning by taking his own life at the man's grave.

Of course, it helped the man they went after was widely despised for being a corrupt dickbag, so everyone was all too glad to see his severed head the ronin carried with them in their procession to their master's grave.

Naturally, the most hilarious part is there's a goddamn signed receipt for the man's severed head still at the shrine, signed by all the ronin who took part and the abbots. Everything has to be in proper order in Asian cultures, after all.

Hey, paperwork is important.

(Supposedly, the Apollo 11 astronauts signed for work-travel receipts when they came back from the moon. So we do it too.)

She could still be a fucking Merchant without the faggy race shit. Just have her trading clan shit or better yet try to fucking do Jade Falcons but as Diamond Sharks.

Hey, I'm not knocking it. Just saying "Severed head of the man we killed" is one hell of an odd thing to put on formal paperwork, even for funerary reasons. Especially because of the balls on these people to formally present the head to the abbots.

So I watched a stream (Agonizing and cringey hell) that had Detocroix, Valk and Zimmerman on it. Detocroix sounds like some 60 year old dude who smoked way to many cigs. Zimmerman I'm surprised surive the gene pool for so long and well god damnit Valk looks like he's related to our one and only Chong fong wong.

Hate double posting but gonna anyways. So recently Sarna decided to do there monthly roundup of June. Sean in his infinite glory continues to suck rainbow cock and just made half the news about Pride Month.

Half the comments went nuclear on him requiring Nick to come out and try to put out the flames, come today they lock comments down because people wheren't having it.

I like to think I have a high tolerance for having pride shit shoved in my face but seeing people paint their models gets to me and particularly troon ones, they often don't look very good visually and tend to look very tacky. Take for example one of the images shown on the June roundup.

All the ones in troon livery look very garish next to the asexual ones looking like a normal paint scheme.
