Battletech - Also known as Trannytech

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Something hit me when reading the May 2023 Sarna News update, no pride stuff and no trooning out the site, but I found this degeneracy.

Looks innocent enough?

Here is the dude's Twitter bio:

Is it retardation on Sean's part or willful ignorance? I know he loves the troon shit, but this is a bit much even for him.

Sadly, it seems Sarna has at least decided to genuflect. The Atlas silhouette, upper left corner, on the main page? Rainbow colored.

Damn I don't see that on mobile.
Good for me I guess?

I really want to know what a player who's been into this hobby since the FASA days thinks about the current co-opting by troons.

Are they too liberal to care or to afraid to gatekeep?

It sucks that every hobby I start tranydom follows.

The bright spot is that because of Battletech's... hmm, call it 'modular' nature, it's really hard to pile on the bullshit because people will just ignore it and keep right on playing. 'Yeah, we're doing a 3025 Succession Wars campaign, no Clan bullshit allowed.'

From what I've seen at conventions, a lot of the players (old and new) are really not interested in tranny shit. They just want to make the mechs blow up.

The problem, I think, is on the fiction/metaplot side, but there's only so much garbage they can slot in without causing a revolt over damaging the lore. Plus, the usual suspects cannot have their self-insert fanfic characters be anything less than perfect, and plugging them into Battletech doesn't fit. As I've said before, the canon history of Battletech is literally 'people make terrible decisions and suffer for it'.

Quick Alpha Strike question.

Does anyone know if you need line of sight for counter-ecm or does the enemy mech just need to be in the bubble?

Null briefly talked about the Battletech reddit thing at the beginning of last Friday's MATI and got the story completely wrong. Said that CGL came in and banned the trannies rather than sanctioning the tranny takeover. And this was while he had the Polygon article right on screen.

CGL? They booted a longtime author over a tranny who was outright stalking and threatening him for basically no reason whatsoever. Whoever thinks they'd side with anyone over the troons is woefully misinformed. They're 100% for the girldick now.
Look. Ace Kaller never identified as a Tranny even when he was taking up the whole Faith McClosky shit. He was pretending to be a lesbian female for orbits and to get recognition.

So a tranny, only without the courage to get the chop then, good to know.

Back on the subject at hand been playing around with megamek and ive been really enjoying myself.

I'm starting to think Stefan Amaris did nothing wrong.
House Amaris was founded by a sociopathic lesbian, so it stands to reason they'd be quite LGBTQAPFDS+ friendly.

With that in mind, I postulate that Stefan Amaris was a troon. He's got the right Fat Ugly Bastard physique for it.

This Marena person is apparently in an actual sourcebook, dunno if that text was from it or not, and was a washout from the warrior caste who made good as a merchant. However I can't comprehend the Falcons giving the first shit about yas qween Blackness; she was a test tube baby like all the rest of them. If they preferred white babies, she'd have been one. They're a fucking genetic engineered society, race as a concept would be child's play for them to edit. Unless like the gene tech on the day her batch came up was all, "lol gonna make this one black as a joke" or just drunk, there was no random chance involved in her creation. The clanners don't play that way.

Yeah, but that's some magnificent facial hair on him. He's fat, ugly, and an omnicidal sociopath like many trannies, but he's too well-groomed.

He probably polishes his head to get that level of shine, and that is a very well-trimmed moustache. No tranny, F2M or M2F, would be so impeccably groomed.
