Apologies if already posted. His "rage" at duck tails was embarrassing I thought

Starts at 2:30 (the singing at the beginning may be of interest to fans of idol...btw does anyone have his Twitter posts when he suggested ppl might be interested in him streaming himself singing?)

I assume the valedictorian thought swearing repeatedly would be highly amusing?

I remember that. I still to this day don't understand his thinking behind this. It's like he wanted to capitalize on the rage but didn't understand that fake rage is just sad to listen to. Always a winner though, shows how desperate he gets.

"I'm not a children's entertainer."

Spider-Man 2000

Seeing him get stuck in that room in the Warehouse level made me laugh and feel depressed at the same time

Watching that TIHYDP made me redownload Spider-Man 2000 and beat it out of frustration

Mgs3

Him not knowing how to put a new silencer on his pistol even with it right in the middle of his fucking screen was great.
Proves how fucking blind he is when the game doesn't have a huge red arrow pointing to what he needs

True on that. The ones out there are either parts of DPS raging and the long one misses the fight with the Umibozu and a couple of fights where DSP rages like a sperg.

But if i did one (If my PC doesn't explode on the endeavor), i would do an extensive one like Josh Ryuk, pointing out all of Phil's mistakes and giving tips on how to play. Because i'm that special.

I'd watch it. I love the Souls games but I couldn't get into Nioh. I really didn't like the missions and revisiting the same areas over and over.

This one was great:

I dunno why Philip plays Grapplers at all because he doesn't understand the meta game of using a grappler. When you're using a Grappler in a fighting game you have to understand the nuance of 50/50 setups and Oki. Basically, you just have to realize how people are playing and how to mindfuck them with mixing up your command grab. The instant Phil picks Darun he practically never goes for the command grab.

I would also assume that he sucks at getting 360 inputs now in his pre-mature old age.

Tbh, Nioh is a bit asinine with the "This mission takes place in a part of a previos mission", but in the DLC they spiced it up a lot and made a lot of new areas, which was damn good and boss fights got amazingly great. Too bad Phil didn't made it past Date, or else we would see him destroyed in the duo fight of Yukimura + Sarutobi

I really think his Resident Evil playthroughs are almost as good as the MGS ones.

Complete inability to conserve ammo, ink ribbons and health items, can't dodge enemies for shit, blaming game designers, horrible inventory management that forces him to backtrack over and over again...
RE1 and RE4 for sure. The RE1 tihydp with who let the dogs out had me laughing for a while, highly recommend you guys checking it out

What's with Phil getting constantly buttfucked by dogs? Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Resident Evil... Every game that has dogs, the dogs proceed to give him a royal ass whooping

That was the REmake, RE1 on the other hand was pretty tame. He only died a few times to Hunters.
RE2 had all the fun moments of him getting wrecked by Lickers.
RE3 had him getting destroyed by Nemesis and the Ink Ribbon fiasco.
Code Veronica with the whole "leave Chris without weapons".

the Ink Ribbon fiasco.

God that one was one of the best, tied with the assfuck he got from Ludwig in Bloodborne (70 times), Champion Gundyr (73 times) and Ukbuk the Black (82 times) in plain hilariousness. I remember he complained nearly 125 times about not having Ink Ribbons

I've always been of the opinion that the best TIHYDPs are the ones of games you're familiar with.
The best for me is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6UqHzzaY4k simply because I played Ratchet and Clank a lot when it came out so I can fully appreciate his amazing incompetence.
The first time I watched it I couldn't stop laughing for a second.

Completely agreed. Sometimes I'll watch one for a game I never played, and think that maybe Phil is right about certain things. Then I'll watch one of a game I've played, and he'll get stuck in something I didn't even think was possible to be stuck in, or he'll be confused by something that is completely obvious.

This. It's amazing how sometimes Phil makes hard things look fairly simple out of plain luck while making easy stuff look impossible.

I remember one case with Castlevania Lords of Shadow, when he was in a puzzle that requires him to push a button, but he didn't knew how (you have to do a special with the gauntlet). Since the TIHYDP cut some parts, i kinda agreed with him on that. A couple of years later i bought the game on a sale and saw that when you get the gauntlet you also have a tutorial that shows you the move you use to press buttons (while also explaining it's very good to defeat enemies on the ground, like Skeletons, making them piss easy).

I was watching the TIHYDP of Silent Hill 3. And wow, you guys.

he thinks that reading descriptions should pause the game, and it doesn't, so he gets attacked by monsters when he's trying to examine the environment. He never learns from it. Instead of killing the monsters he just complains about the lack of pausing, tries to read the same thing, and gets attacked again. For the whole game. Heather looks like a weaponless special needs girl getting physically bullied by monsters while she tries to read memos in his playthrough.

At one point he has over a hundred handgun bullets and refuses to fire his gun to be able to read a poem. He complains about the lack of health items. It's a very unique way to fail at the inventory budgeting aspect of survival horror games.

I enjoyed the TIHYDP Fallout New Vegas more than I should've. As one of my favorite games to sit down and play, seeing him fuck up so badly at that game was both infuriating and cathartic.

I recommend the Pokemon Moon playthrough. It shows how incompetent Phil can be.

In this playthrough Phil butchers it completely showing how much of an idiot he is in one of the most linear games in the franchise. Shortly before this game was announced a playthrough, it was confirmed via Nintendo that these games were the most pre-ordered games in Nintendo history. Seeing that, he thought he could ride of the franchise only to be a complete idiot when he was outnumbered to so many better Poketubers out there.

Here are some highlights:

-The infamous Phil calls his fans lazy is a great moment not a lot of people seem to remember. It's not in this video iirc, but if you look it up, clips of it can still be found.

- Phil complains about being steamrolled when he has a team almost completely filled with water types.

-Phil refuses to grind, leaving him to struggle and actually die in this game. The same game that gives out potions and revives like crazy.

- Phil doesn't bother to learn typings because he has a big ego. Leading him to waste his special moves (Z-moves) on a pokemon that can't be affected by his attack. To make it worse, the game TELLS YOU what will and will not work, but he still makes mistakes like these.

-Phil makes creepy jokes about the female characters in this game which would be fine and dandy if it wasn't for the fact that unlike other Pokemon games, they are confirmed to be 11 years old.

- Phil states he cares about the game's content only to one-shot a legendary when people asked him to catch it and then blow them off for saying so.

There are other funny moments, but this isn't even nearly half the hilarious shit he's done. I highly recommend the video.
As of now, this is officially my favourite TIHYDP, because it got me interested in playing Pokemon again.

If mystifies me how deeply he fails to understand how type matchups work. Even noobs like me can work it out.

His RE3 playthrough holds a special place in my heart because I played the fuck out of that game back in the day... and I didn't know you could kill the worm boss with the electricity from the lamp posts. I fucking learned something from a DSP playthrough. I don't know if I should be proud that I managed to conserve items or shamed for actually learning something from him fucking up.
