Better Call Saul

I'm probably wrong, but what if the guy who's following Kim and Jimmy is Kuby?
It is most likely a PI that Howard has hired to tail both Jimmy and Kim. He knows that Jimmy is desperate for the Sandpiper money from at least last season. He knows that Jimmy smashed his car up. He likely knows that Jimmy made a scene at the country club on the same day a cocaine baggie falls out of his own locker. He knows that the Kettlemans, former clients of both Jimmy and Kim, have alleged Howard is using cocaine. He knows that Jimmy is a full on cartel lawyer and could be dangerous enough to have people hurt or killed. He also knows Jimmy's true history in Chicago because Chuck explained all of it to Howard before hiring Jimmy in the mailroom.

Howard knows the last person to mess with Jimmy was Chuck who was driven to suicide. And now Jimmy is potentially very dangerous as a cartel operative or something even worse. Howard is probably taking no chances. I would guess that Howard beats Jimmy and Kim with their plot to defeat him and prolongs the Sandpiper money even more. And Jimmy has the cartel rough Howard up and they just straight up murder Howard thinking that 'intimidate' meant 'kill'.

This is fitting for Breaking Bad universe because main characters never kill directly. There is always some effort by the writers to soften when main characters kill. Like Walt and Jesse take out child killing drug dealers. Or Krazy8 has the plate shard. Or Hank getting killed by circumstance due to Walt but not directly. I would bet that if Howard dies it is similar to Hank dying. Where it is not Jimmy's main fault just like Walt tried to save Hank even. Jimmy or Kim might indirectly get Howard killed.

I don't disagree with most of what you said here (I don't think Jimmy is going to sic the cartel on Howard, but we still have 10 episodes left... let's see where that goes.) but what if Howard hired Kuby (who, for all we know could have been a PI before crossing paths with Saul. He has the skillset for it at least.) to tail Kim and Jimmy, and that's how he meets Saul? I already said I'm probably wrong. I guess I just really want to see Bill Burr again this season. -_-

You know what? I'm actually already gonna change my mind here, and say that I was almost certainly wrong.
Just for grins, I looked up Kuby just now, and I forgot this- apparently Gomey at some point said that Kuby was from "Bean Town" (that's Chicago) Kuby is probably an old friend of Slippin' Jimmy. I really do still hope he shows up later this season though.

was not expecting this.

poor nacho, just wanted out of the game.
Honestly I think they were decided on killing him anyway, it symbolizes Mike's anecdote of being in the game, no one in the story so far got out without a scratch, Jesse lost Andrea & Jane, Walter lost his family & all of the money, Saul lost his career (and guessing Kim soon), Gus lost his entire business, the Cartel lost its entire business, Mike lost Kaylee's birthright (the entire thing he was doing all this for) its just the brutal truth of how noone in the story gets to live out their dreams, Nacho sacrificed himself to save his father

The only people that got some sort of redemption is Jesse, Hector & Walter, each killing the person they hated the most (or shouldve hated for that matter)

Well, there's only one way out for most people.

I'm glad he got some catharsis in letting the old man know he fucked him over and just how much he hated working for them. Tuco's crazy bullshit, the twins being a nightmare from a comic, and the old bastard trying to involve his father in the business. You can feel the anger in his voice. The suicide's suspect, but his performance was absolutely perfect.

Actually, Bean Town is Boston. The actor that played Kuby was supposed to be in season 5 BCS. But had a shedule conflict with filming. I really hope He shows up in the final season. I love Bill Burr.

The leaks were true after all. So Kim.... 🥺

On a side note, the shard of glass shown in the intro was the same that Nacho used so the flowers were probably were Mike buried him some time after he ded. Bravissimo, Vince. Saul dropped the word 'timeline' too, he probably browses /tv/ lol.

Gonna have to pour one out for Nacho. When pushed and fucked over on both sides he decided to get out of the game on his own terms and give a solid fuck you in the process.

I had a feeling Kim was gonna fuck up later in the season. People would talk about how meek Saul would be while Kim was aggro with the Kettlemans but I think he knows his limits. Hes played this game and enjoys being shady within good reason and knows when to stop when shit gets real. Kim gets a real kick out of it but has no restraint and is gonna cross a line and get fucked. Just my feelings.

Holy shit that hit hard, but at least he died by his own hand and not theirs, would have been a slow death either way knowing the cartel.

Hector picking at his corpse with a handgun was an epic cope, I rate that 10/10.

I'm glad Nacho went out like that. For all the shit he was involved with, getting tortured to death by the twins is too cruel. That said, his corpse appears to be left alone at the end of the episode with just Hector and his dynamic duo. If the next episode's director is more on the realism side with how cartels operate, there might not be much to bury for Mike or whoever was hinted at doing so in the opening shot.

It's just a vessel. Nacho is beyond the reach of anyone now.
