Better Call Saul

Kim is likely far away from home during the events of Breaking Bad, and who knows how close this finale is chronologically to Breaking Bad?

I'm still wondering that. It would be the easiest way to explain why she is not in breaking bad, it also feels absolutely lazy to kill off all 4 characters who are not in breaking bad. You can't convince me that Lalo is not gonna die before the season ends.
Yeah Lalo has to die, there’s no way he’s not getting involved in the BB cartel war if he’s alive.

Kim HAS to die, right?
Kim picking the vacuum cleaner repair card out of Dr Caldera's black book points to a new life running a convenience store, somewhere off the beaten track in the frozen north. The stray tequila bottle lid in the cold opening to the final season would suggest Fring's involvement in her ending.

It would be bittersweet if she was intercepted before she could be spirited away and ended-up sealed behind the wall of Gus's meth lab with Lalo (this would seem to be his likely fate). As far as everyone is concerned she would be off the board. Jimmy would believe she was still out there somewhere, not knowing she was long dead and that he was responsible.

There has to be some kind inciting incident that concludes Jimmy's present day arc and perhaps lures him back to his old haunts. Kim has to be a part of that.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tr3Tous-8M&t=388s they just uploaded all the gene scenes and the old actors still there. i believe there is a recasting but I think the reshoots people are talking about is I think they'll justify him looking different by saying in Gene's mind he's now imaging this guy as looking like the new actor due to being scared of him and exageratting in his mind to try to handwave the recast. As for Lalo's teleportation, I read some interviews with the writers and they deliberately didnt show Lalo for a few episodes to have viewers in their head sort of fill in the blanks of how he got around, and kept note cards to keep him offscreen for just enough episodes that in their eyes were believable that Lalo could do all that before we caught back up with him. Guess some people just didnt believe he'd be able to do it unless they see it. Sorry to bring up that shit again I know everyone's probably sick of that argument over plot armor

I just accepted it was a TV show set in an era where planes and cars are a thing. Everyone else kept acting like it was the final seasons of GOT.

only retards had problems with him getting around the way he did, that's easy to explain. it's him healing so fucking fast that was retarded.

The explanation there is if he healed slow there wouldnt be any conflict for the next couple of episodes
Yes, and the better writing would be not to have him say he broke a rib and instead not being hurt and go 'That was close' or 'that would have hurt'.

There's no point in indicating that he's being badly if it doesn't help the plot in any way. It's not like anyone believed Lalo would be killed in Germany by some random guy, so there was no tension in the first place. Him being hurt badly establishes nothing. It's just amateurish writing to make the fight more 'real'. Well, have the fight go down differently then, not at the cost of your show making less sense.

Don't worry. Now that Lalo has proven he can travel internationally, get any gun or item without fail, and slip through anywhere undetected....he has now lost all of his abilities and cartel associates. He now needs to hire a goofball lawyer and his wife to become assassins for his cartel. Instead of using the large network of cartel hitters he has at his disposal, he has Kim hilariously going out on hits for him. And lets her go without worry of her calling police or the FBI.

This is show is officially for idiots. Lalo just let Kim go after she witnessed him committing a murder. All she has to do is contact police or the FBI and they could handle the situation a million times better than anything she can do.
