Having to consult the PC gaming wiki and mess with config files for 2 hours because the Nips can't code their fucking PC ports to not be a stuttering mess. I'M LOOKING AT YOU, GHOSTWIRE!

how much is it on Steam? kind of curious if its lower on Steam and possibly a Google issue. Not exactly in game but the absurd pricing of mobile ports, particularly from Jap studios.
I had some Google play money from doing their surveys and had a look at what I could spend it on and the game prices are insane. Disgaea 1 is £30??? They want close to full price for a lazy android port of a 20 year old game. Fuck off with that shit.

$33 on the US store, both Apple and Android. I don't think I've ever seen a single mobile game that expensive. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.nippon1.disgaearefineNot exactly in game but the absurd pricing of mobile ports, particularly from Jap studios.

I actually ended up blowing the balance on ppsspp gold. Don't need it, regular version works fine, but everything else on the store is useless to me so thought might as well give a few pennies to the devs, the PSP emu is one of the better ones out there.$33 on the US store, both Apple and Android. By the way, this exists: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.ppsspp.ppsspp and Disgaea 1 (and 2) got a perfectly good PSP port.
What's the point of mobile games, when you can play any game (and PSP apparently) on any device?I actually ended up blowing the balance on ppsspp gold. Tech illiterate normies who cannot into emulators. What's the point of mobile games, when you can play any game (and PSP apparently) on any device?
Ocarina was the same way. I still don't know why sometimes the fish just gets away because fuck you.Fishing in The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass sucks donkey ass, as is tying RNG into the fish necessary for a heart container.
I don't know the details about it in Links Awakening but in that one the fishing seemed fair. In Ocarina it felt a bit bullshit.Ocarina was the same way. I still don't know why sometimes the fish just gets away because fuck you.
But at least that uses buttons and a joystick, using the touch screen to reel & pull makes the whole thing a bigger pain in the ass.Ocarina was the same way. I still don't know why sometimes the fish just gets away because fuck you.

Mobile games are good when I want to play something casually.Tech illiterate normies who cannot into emulators.
I would expect that to be the sign of a development cycle where time and money ran short at the end. And sadly, it's very common these days. Here is one that's very common - a shitty endgame while the beginning and middle have a lot of effort put into them. My guess it is done to appeal to reviewers who are unlikely to reach the game before making their review. But for the player you have a great experience ending underwhelmingly.
Alternatively, you have the MGSV situation where Konami decided way too fucking late to tard wrangle Kojima, and it fucking shows throughout the entire game.I would expect that to be the sign of a development cycle where time and money ran short at the end. And sadly, it's very common these days.
