Biggest bullshit in a video game

GTA: San Andreas' train mission.

You KNOW what I'm talking about.

You're tasked to follow a train with four Vagos on top. Those Vagos have higher health than normal. Your ally, Smoke, has terrible aim and DPS. You would have to hope that you are following the train enough at the right altitude and distance to get your shots off.

Alternatively, shimmy your way on top of the train to kill them yourself. Like I said, they have higher health.

TFW you realize you just eliminated Smoke's competition.

With Sweet, the Russians, and Vagos out of the way, he took over the city easily.

ALL WE HAD TO DO WAS FOLLOW THE DAMN TRAIN CJ!

Probably wrote it it in here few times already, the final dungeon for Octopath Traveler is pure shit.
Let's start with how you unlock it: You need to do few rando world quests for it, I actually forgotten by then quests exist. But it's especially bad due to most of the plots revolving around this dungeon and the game relegates this big finale to what amounts to extra content blocked by random events.
Anyways you do those quests and get into the dungeon and... you can't get out, it's a boss rush and you can't save inside. Now you have three options:
1. Get leveled into post game levels and trial and error through the boss rush, which can be tricky unless you find some broken build.
2. Level up like a motherfucker and hope you can blitz through on few tries.
3. Read a guide so you won't waste a ton of hours grinding or dying.
tl;dr: It's bullshit both narratively and gameplay wise.

The motocross levels are ass.

OG Loc's buttboy? The quad mission? The quad chase is actually worse, since you'll fall in the river nine times out of ten. At least the train missions are (literally) on rails. GTA should stay the hell away from redneck off-roading.
Do not forget Zero's missions. Even David Cross (voice of Zero) was annoyed by them.

Earlier copies of San Andreas, you'd lose fuel no matter what. Timing was tight.

Limited saves. Just snagged AVP 2000 for a deal a week ago, didn't know about the limited save thing. Luckily its easily remedied using the config and launch options, but come on! On the Alien mode, the lowest level enemies carry molotov cocktails that can take 70% of your health in one hit. And they usually drop them on the ground when they die, which will set you on fire just the same as if they had thrown it at your face.

Have fucking unlimited saves. An action game is not a Resident Evil game.
Reminds me of Hitman Blood Money. If you played on easiest difficulty you had unlimited saves, on medium you had 7 saves, on hard you had 3 saves and on professional you couldn't save. I have no idea why this was tied with increasing the difficulty. Maybe you just wanted the game to be harder and the AI to be smarter but nope, had to deal with limited saves. There is more than 7 missions in the game so you had to tactically skip saving, which mean that if you failed, not only are you failing the current mission, but you also have to restart the previous mission(s) that you already completed. And on the hardest difficulty, not saving means you have to marathon the whole game without fucking up or else you start over. Do it in one sitting, unless you want to leave your console on.

Just a holdover from the old games, effectively an extra life system. Otherwise you would save-scum to victory.

Taking an item with curse of the blind in issac and having your run ruined.

I took ipecac via curse of the blind while having trisaglion. Each shot explode and hurts you.
I once willingly took ludo + explodisovo.
It killed my dsp.

Your whole run should not be ruined because you took an item
