Lol, that late night show style interview he did...he cares so little about the subject that he's there to be interviewed about that the interviewer got slightly stumped.

I've been doing a poor job documenting the goings on of Bill and DeFalco. First to address Bill's brother Walter who heads Scorpion releasing (for those new to this thread, the brothers trade titles amongst each other).

They've still been releasing titles but it's being handled by other employees. Bill hasn't been doing much better as evidenced by the beetus in this stream:


Not that that's stopped Bill from shitposting by doing a stream in the Banana costume while in his underwear.


And DeFalco has continued his war against the trolls.



This guy has been doing god's work by archiving these shitshows.

It's a shame about Walter, as he seems as a normal, grounded person. Bill on the other hand, is an autist of the highest level. Back when the label even started, he was attacking and blaming the forums. DeFalco seems silly, but he seems genuine in his love for genre film. I wonder if it's even worth ordering from Dark Force. Do you recommend it?

Walt really hates how his brother conducts himself online.

I do not recommend ordering anything from Dark Force because (1) the quality is usually very poor and (2) there's a very high chance the title will be re-done (properly) by Walt's company Scorpion or some other company like 88 Films or Arrow. A lot of the titles DeFalco peddles are usually just upconverts of releases done by Bill. So don't expect anything to look like a 2K or 4K master. Not unless you plan on re-selling them on Ebay of course. Bill and DeFalco despise Ebay sellers.

@BrunoMattei do you have anymore gossip about other people in the obscure horror film industry? I've heard some shit about Todd Sheets in YouTube comment sections. I like his movies though.

I read some comments saying that the user mailed one of his VHS tapes of Todd's movies to him to sign and send back but Todd just ended up keeping the tape probably to sell on eBay because they go for $100-200 usually. I also read he burns DVDRs for his fans of his old movies to sell to them but if the disc gets damaged during shipping he doesn't want to refund you or send another. He always seemed like a nice guy though and I do enjoy his movies. The recent ones not so much so.

Sad update for Bill.


DeFalco hypes up the stream by playing the "This is an emergency" signal. At least he didn't flex and play his usual wrestling entrance. He then scans Bill's surprisingly clean home, videos a black helper/maid cleaning the bathroom floor and then prods Bill and his decaying legs:

Bill's legs are likely to get amputated soon. DeFalco pulls off the bandages and zooms in on the carnage while proclaiming that this may be your last chance to get Code Red discs. Bill is completely unintelligible throughout the short stream. He'll probably die soon. His brother Walter has been suggesting people around him (DeFalco) are exploiting him.

That's just sad that he's being filmed and exploited like that. Diabetic ulcers? DeFalco is no better than the idiots on the blu-ray forums asking for reprints of certain titles when he's bedridden like this.

I would feel bad if Bill hasn't been an absolute asshole to his customers for years. Karma's a bitch.

Not much in the way of updates other than a bunch of Code Red titles are being released by Kino Lorber. This includes:

Black Gestapo, the Devil's Wedding Night, and Savage Streets. No idea if this includes a new transfer or not. Code Red is re-releasing a completely shite Eyetalian Horror flick called Panic and if I'm saying it's shite than that's saying a lot.


Bill got out of the hospital, this is back in August, and he seems okay I guess? DeFalco teases him about unraveling the bandages for the camera so the world can see his rotting legs again.
