After reading through this thread, I see two distinct issues.

1. Null doesn't want to babysit the unironic /pol/ types (often newfags) who hang out in A&N almost exclusively and who think that cooperating with the FBI is "selling out" (even if said threat came from a troll) and won't tolerate violent threats.

2. Null slamming A&N attracted a whole lot of other newfags (joined less than a year ago, or close to that mark) to this very thread that think A&N should be shut down. These people are probably more harmful to KF as a whole by masquerading as real users. To me, these are the true cancer of the site. A&N can be kept under control as a containment zone, the last thing KF needs is people who claim they know the "culture" of the site and lecture older users in an effort to gain control. (To quote a well-known figure, "many such cases" have happened on other forums). This is what causes the functional deaths of communities, and I'd rather see KF dead than be handed over to the likes of these people.

Null's rules about threats of violence getting a ban and him fully complying with US law enforcement is completely reasonable.
People who have a problem with that, or want to ironically threaten violence, will only cause problems for whatever community they're in.

Alot of people don't like A&N because its people bitching about niggers and jews, as if its any different than the rest of the site bitching about trannies, the mentally ill, handicapped, obese, etc.

In general I treat this site like a slightly more autistic conversation with a coworker or friend -- I really fail to understand the people who'd willingly spergout over lolcows for anything other than enjoying the fallout/fucking around from a distance. You do you and all that, but I even more fail to understand those who do it with minimal to no protection. If you're going to be an unironic massive sperg atleast hide it before you become a target.

Undoubtedly the feds saw activity under my name yet you don't see it attached to all the stupid shit I've done, just the stupid socially forgivable shit.

Sorry for ranting. It's a giant blogpost centered around some dumbfuck called deciusmus bitching, but I just fail to understand how you spergout in a traceable manner enough to get the fucking FBI after your ass. It should also be taken into consideration that for every person who's going on some diatribe about the Elders of Zion, there's 50 more who wish that he'd shut up and who knows how many people lurking around and not saying a word. People just have a tendency to focus on the negative because that's how brains are wired, so they don't much care for the couple dozen of posts that more or less just stride down the middle of the aisle and they can't formulate an opinion on the people who never say anything, but that person in the corner screaming about White Extinction is going to garner a lot of attention.

The exception being threads that are implicitly about Jews or black people. Those threads are a guaranteed train wreck because it attracts them like moths to a flame.

I've always said that the majority of A&H are not racist people, there are just racist people in A&H. I don't much care for it and I don't think it solves anything and I think that every racism-driven theory and ideology is ridiculous because most of them are the exact, same theory with the races shuffled around, but if someone wants to pound out gamer words on the internet: I'm not their mom. That's not my business.

All of the people elsewhere on the site who go to similar lengths to decry The Great Un-Penising or to lament the caloric intake of the nearest ham planet all fall under the same guidance as A&H: Go for it, go nuts, stack that shit to the ceiling, but if calls for specific, physical action become a part of your routine, you've stepped over a line. I can guarantee with absolute certainty that if someone repeatedly ran into the Amberlynn threads and started discussing her murder, or started trying to formulate a plan for how to deal with the scooty puff menace infesting every slowly-rounding corner of our country, they'd be thrown off the website faster than food vanishes off Amber's plate.

It's something of an awkward position because I can understand the arguments from both sides of the extreme, I just don't agree with them. The vast majority of the userbase in the sub-forum is wandering around in the middle of the field and never does anything untowards, so punishing the entirety of them for the behaviour of a few and for the actionable behaviour of a single person who wasn't a regular user of the sub-forum in the first place isn't sensible, to me.
