Blue Archive - The south Korean Gacha game that almost died, is now being released on Steam this summer.

Two of the welfare characters, Swimsuit Shizuko and Swimsuit Ayane, are pretty strong.
Seconding this. If you've got the time, I storingly suggest you play Get Set Go in the Event Story tab. The reward is Hasumi (Track) with all the resources needed to max her out as a character, potentially giving you a 5* Mystic damage dealer that's also on top of the tier list for 3 raids.

Millennium School is perpetually exploding for one reason or another and I'd have it no other way

Has Leslie Benzies started blaming Blue Archive as one of the "external saboteurs" that made Mindseye completely dogshit yet?

Had to look up what Mindseye was and it look like the most generic UE5 GTA ripoff slop on the market, with a bit of Mass Effect thrown in for good measure. Does this Leslie guy have a track record of blaming "external saboteurs"?

Prior to the game's launch, Leslie Benzies accused Rockstar Games of making negative PR to specifically defame MindsEye:

There's a tweet (A) regarding a preview build of MindsEye with "negative feedback" attached to it.

Co-CEO of MindsEye developer, Build a Rocket Boy, claims that the negative reaction of MindsEye are from paid conspirers by Rockstar Games.

I knew that MindsEye was built from the EVERYWHERE platform when it was announced; I recall they outright mentioned it. I'm not sure how that was lost as they were marketing the title. People calling it a holdover for GTA 6 have their expectations wildly unrealistic, to say the least. I don't think it's worth the $60 asking price, but comparing a new studio's first game to a highly anticipated blockbuster is setting yourself up for massive disappointment.

Later on, after the disastrous launch, he then blamed internal and external saboteurs for why the game failed:

Leslie Benzies continues to double down on this game, as he still blames "internal and external saboteurs" for the game failing, and says that the game will get "relaunched". / Archive

At this rate, it's only a matter of time before Benzies blames Kiwi Farms, GamerGate, and/or Pmurt for Mindseye's failure. And good luck with getting the funding to rework this game with how badly it bombed the first time.

Sounds like the classical cope for people who try to make large projects without the technical know-how, studio size, or writing ability. He shouldn't have tried to rival Rockstar without the manpower of Rockstar, especially considering that he should've known large projects require a lot of manpower. If his game came out, say 10 years ago, maybe the reception would've been better.

Notorious Twitter retard, professional victim and Ana Valens' friend, Bint/NBinted, has decided to play Blue Archive to own the chuds.

Do you think he'll go through with it to Volume F and grow as a person, or quit in the coming weeks because he can't commit to anything?

I'm surprised anyone spends money on this game. The dollar-per-pull value seems low even by the abysmal standards of gacha games. Plus the game is ridiculously generous with its drop rates, plus free pulls, event drops, and random rewards out the ass. Sometimes they'll just randomly drop 10 free pulls into your mailbox because their official Twitter account reached some arbitrary milestone or something.

You basically already have all the units you'd ever need to breeze through missions and event content up until Elastic (Purple) enemies start showing up.

I'm not sure at what level the event recap feature unlocks for new players, but it might be worth playing the first stage on a couple of events in the archive for the free welfare characters. Two of the welfare characters, Swimsuit Shizuko and Swimsuit Ayane, are pretty strong. Swimsuit Shizuko is one of the best shielders in the game.
Pretty much every welfare character except Nodoka is worth doing the event recap for imo. Sadly, Nodoka is one of those characters that completely fulfills a niche that does not yet exist in any piece of content, in her case being the best at ACC buffing.

I'm curious how far they're going to experiment with 3D environments in further events. Might be their way of beta testing

speaking of 3D, i just finished the Box event. It was pretty cool. Must have been a pain to move around on a phone though.

Phone movement was just a directional touch system, so I don't imagine it being too bad. I will say the interactions with the random objects scattered around like the microphone were pretty funny
