Speaking of which, I liked the event story. A fun play on the "sportsteam forced to lose a match" plotline. Even if I know nothing about Baseball. It's nice finally being able to clear all the story battle, but I still can't beat the challenge ones, any recommendations on a unit that has multihit skills? Do DoT count?

You can use Neru for the first one but I had great results with swimsuit Hanako for the 3rd challenge node

DoTs do count but they're way too slow, you should take any unit that has a multi-hit ST EX, like @Manwithdaplan said, use Neru. ANY Neru variant works wonders for the first challenge. If you have a cost down unit you can also bring them along with Hina, regular Hina's EX does enough hits to kill a red robot and a cost down unit makes her expensive EX easier to use. If you don't have any other unit that does a lot of ST EX and you need to fill it up with anyone, prioritize auto-attackers with burst fire Basic skills, those are usually students armed with either submachine guns (like Yuuka), assault rifles (like Serika) or machine guns (like Izumi). The downside is of course that they can't target who to fire at but they all have cheap EX skills so you can more easily cycle to students who will be taking care of the problematic red robots that aren't targeted by anyone's auto-attack.

There is also a cheese in challenge 3 where you can use cover summoning characters like Shimiko and Swimsuit Shizuko to effectively block the sweeper's path, thus making it super easy to kill Rei because now the sweeper walks straight into Rei and can get stuck there. The sweeper also does not deal damage to cover objects. You do need a beefy tank like Swimsuit Hoshino, and a healer in the special slot to take on the invincible Sumire's attacks though and also any potential hits from the sweeper.

I can't even do 2 damage wise, unless it has a trick in it. Low level is pretty annoying.

Challenge 2 is purely DPS, need to kill Rei as fast and cleanly as possible before you get exploded by AMAS or caught in Sumire's weakness detection, recommended to use a single target dealer like Dress Hina and hypercarry her to all hell.

Challenge missions are totally not required for low level players and you can just continue farming stage 12 of the normal event missions and get good eligmas. People usually only play the challenge missions because they want the title next to their name.
 
If you're on a Samsung Galaxy device and connected to Blue Archive in the last 20 minutes, make sure you didn't do anything else other than going into the cafe and collecting AP. The game just went into maintenance to rectify a hacking incident. Clicking on a suspicious in-game banner bootloops your device and the only way to fix it is to force restart your phone.

My cafe was also filled with like 20 Koyukis, Noa has been dispatched to deal with the August 31 Nihahahaha Incident.
