About the PV observations, I agree they deliberately created scenes that look perfectly normal when viewed casually, but when you notice the discrepancies, they can't be ignored.
Tea Party: it's easy to focus on Mika at the foreground. Nagisa being on her phone is visually a small detail, but based on my understanding of the previous lore, something that really shouldn't happen in a scene like that? She'd be either relaxing with her friends, or having a discussion about the internal politics of Trinity in a setting that's engineered for peaceful conflict resolution (unironically.)
Foreclosure Task Force: very subtle, like @Lerias said. Everything is, for lack of a better term, slightly off.
Makoto: Coincidentally, a recent "Sensei, can we have some of your time?" featured a very motherly Makoto. (a Ma-makoto, if you may.) Could it have been an intentional reminder of her characterization, so that the PV discrepancy becomes more noticeable?

These would fit neatly into the broader "conspiracy?" Nagisa is bored enough to doomscroll because "conflict has been removed." Makoto is like that because character nuances are also being stripped away? She's reduced to just "scary authoritarian leader?"
Bonus: Hina/Prefect Team not being shown at all could be a 'meta' way of further implying that Kivotos has been disarmed/demilitarized.

Lerias also made an observation regariding this, which might be a detail hidden in plain sight.
The emblem patch on Mika's uniform is not the Trinity logo but instead a whole different thing that only vaguely resembles the Trinity logo.

It's clear that the PV's theme is that of being watched. In 1984, the Party replaces the concept of God and religion with the worship of the state and Big Brother. Trinity is obviously inspired by the Holy Trinity, and the overarching lore of Blue Archive is based on the Bible, including both the Old and New Testaments. Now, we know that many of the characters in Blue Archive are based on religious figures, whether angels, demons, or other deities. Another thing to note is that the early Tanakh, the Hebrew text that served as the basis for the Old Testament, did not explicitly deny the existence of other deities, but instead stated that they were all inferior to the one true God. Throughout the story, we have received confirmation that the Abrahamic God also exists in Blue Archive, chief among them being the fact that Mika was able to sing Kyrie Eleison with music playing inside the Arius branch school, something Beatrice claimed to be impossible because she had destroyed all the instruments.

With the pieces we have, it is very likely that the story will portray a scenario in which reality has been rewritten and the GSC (the state) has become the ultimate authority in all of Kivotos. In this world, characters like Hoshino, Fat Shiroko, and others no longer know what they truly are, and Orwell has positioned himself as god. The PV opens with Rin floating on shallow water, which is likely the world inside the Shittim Chest. My interpretation is that this is either the original GSC president speaking to her consciousness to warn her of what is happening, or preventing her consciousness from being overwritten, which explains why she seems aware that the Kivotos she is in is not the real one.

The reference to Jeremiah 1:11 in the middle of the PV means that God is watching the events unfold, and the almond tree at the end likely foreshadows the conclusion of the story. Jeremiah 1:11–1:19 tells of how the enemies of Judah are coming and great turmoil is being brought upon them, but faith in God and His word will protect the people from any adversity.

FORCED TO SPARK! NOT A SINGLE NEW 3* EITHER!

I wonder if the Orwell event is going to be about "mis-characterisation", up-playing aspects of a character whilst downplaying others and reducing them to a caricature. I think you see that a lot on social media nowadays with art bandwagons. I also wonder if it's going to be about that "you can't bring back the dead" line from that fox girl. Is Orwell going to retcon Yume's death somehow? Will we get a third Hoshino character arc?

30 rolls, one with the 10x pull ticket from sonic cat grand assault. Pyroxenes gone from 14k to 11k. And with that the idol group is complete.

Still no wild hunt student tho. That school would be forever locked till I got lucky.

Might have to give up D. Michiru banner, shame I like her kit slightly more than S.Shiroko.

This is what happens when you don't get premier fest units like S.Hoshino and probably Wakamo. While B. Aris and Kei are strong but not quite enough to power creep Guaca. Can't really give up Mari either, her heals are best for scarecrows.

My haul from rolling is; Track Haruna spooked on the first 10 rolls. Two Idol Maris on the 50th roll. Decided that you only lose when you don't go broke, and I still had enough to keep rolling. No spooks or anything until I got Wappi on the 100th roll.

Didn't have any tickets through this whole thing because I wasted them trying to roll for Minori last week.

I'm in the same piss, shit and AIDS filled boat. I swear, I better get S.Hosh, Waka and all the fest shit in 7 pulls total or one of my friends may coincidentally decide to commit mass murder.

You gay cunt. This is your fault. You stole both of our Maris. Face the wall.

I'm lucky I got all the idol girls in the original event run and have a UE60 Idol Mari. Pyrox count not looking too hot for fest, and I do want to pull for Kei and Gundam Arisu...

Time ran out for my military service delays due to college studies and I HAVE to go next week. I should get out of 5 week basic military training just in time for the beginning of fest so I need to save up as much as I can this week. :semperfidelis:

The concern about the UI changes being related to the rewrite of the event turned out to be just mass paranoia. The JP client update is live and with it they showcased a brand new UI (image from some anon in 4chan's blue archive general who posted their JP accounts)
New UI
It has new buttons but otherwise mostly the same.
1776765808950.png
Also comes with night-time feature which uses the night version of Schale office.

(Note that the guns are still there, so we are not affected by the rewrite. Yet)

Recruitment UI is also changed. No more horizontal scrolling bullshit.

The menu with the buttons to mission/mainstory/etc is also revamped. The background is still the same but they have fancier buttons now. Empty space is likely for the upcoming raid training sim thingie, or maybe its just this anon screen size.

All in all, it's just a plain UI/UX changes, which, thanks to the 7th PV shenanigans caused some people to fear the worse.

EDIT: As it turns out, the recruitment changes isn't just the menu, now there is a chance that you will get someone else giving you the roll result.
EDIT2: Or both, apparently!

EDIT3: That said, the anons also mentioned them reading through part 1 of the new story event and received some ominous warning (translated to english from JP)

It's probably not related to that UI update, but now the paranoia sets in again.

Gonna have to skip Hosino.S. Im not risking my android daughters for her.

As for the event itself, i really liked it. Everyone was so cute in their IDOL uniforms and costumes! Many funny moments and i ended up liking Mari even more then before. A solid 10/10 event.

They should make it so that if Plana appears you have at least one 3* guaranteed. The memes demand it!
From what I've seen from JP streams. Plana appears randomly and can still appear for your regular dose of 9 Blue 1 Gold.
The dual appearance seems to appear randomly but only for 3* Pulls, I think. They're not guaranteed to both appear as Arona or Plana can just give you your purple instead.
You unlock Plana appearing for pulls after completing the Part 2 Story.

as people rightfully guessed, it's confirmed that the events that happen are in a bizarro world, since to quote this tweet

BE ADVISED, SPOILER ALERT!!
In Chapter 2, Vol 0. At some point in the story, you may have seen the code with two digits in a row. This is the ASCII (American Standard Code for Information Interchange), the encoding standard that assigns unique numerical values (codes) to represent text characters, symbols, and control instructions in computers and electronic devices.

In this one: 54 48 49 53 20 49 53 20 41 20 46 41 4C 53 45 20 57 4F 52 4C 44 2E
Decoded with ASCII is: THIS IS A FALSE WORLD.
