Unless it's something that breaks the mold like The Batman, the audience just isn't there anymore, and as such the producers put in minimal effort, and you end up with Quantummania. At least DC puts out some gold sometimes. Marvel is more mass produced than a Pokémon game, and that's saying something. It's not even that the charecters are bad, Sony does great shit with spider man in their animated movies and games, giving me that Spood fix I've wanted. The thing he supposedly makes a career out of, he only regurgitates his standard opinions (thing I like is always good, thing chuds like is always bad). Everything else he vomits out, it's clear that he has barely a surface level understanding of, and it's patently obvious he's skimming Wikipedia for all his info.

And even if he is right about something, he's so obnoxiously smug about it that you can't help but feel disgust for him anyway. The man is Dunning-Kruger personified, believing himself to be the smartest man in the room at all times, even if he pretends to show a little false humility through self-deprecating "humor." You'd think such a brilliant Thinker would be in a better position in life than to be living in his mom's basement in his 40s, but here we are.

And that's why this thread remains fascinating. It may not be super interesting, it may be pretty repetitive, but Bob's constant state of wrongness means there's always something to come back to. We have a whole community in this single thread that enjoys laughing at how stupid this man is, and unlike Bob, we have the knowledge to back ourselves up.
