Bobby jumps to the "let's watch" bandwagon a little too late and starts another series called The Big Watch. The video itself is almost a hour and a half long so no local archive.

You choose how to interpret that.

The two people in front of the blue screen are Bob's "friends" Tim and Agatha. Why Bob put his friends in front of something that could be easily chroma keyed I have no idea. I assume it's because he's filming at their place and they couldn't be fucked to change their recording setup for Bob. Bob does get them to introduce themselves so we're not completely in the dark as to who they are. Tim runs some blogspot site called https://www.cinemaspection.com/ which links to these other fine movie blogs.

It's kinda weird how insular Boston movie critics are or maybe it's just Bob.

Agatha refuses, and I do mean refuses, to give any details about herself other than her first name. "My name's Agatha. I'm good. That's it." to which Bob meeks out a very quiet "ok". They then proceed to watch all of Jack Frost while it plays in the bottom right hand corner.

This is 39 minutes in and I promise you I wasn't searching for this. I was clicking randomly on the time line to see if it was more than just really low effort and low IQ MST3K style riffing and, in short, no. For some reason they are discussing the proper plural form of Spider-Man. Agatha believes that it should be Spider-Mans because, like Superman, it is a title rather than a regular noun. I don't know if she's wrong but I don't care, much like I don't care to find the proper context for this whole discussion which has nothing to do with a shitty movie about a killer snowman. The movie watching goes on till one hour seventeen minutes and they spend the final ten minutes of the video giving their opinions on the movie. Agatha is the first to speak and she did not like the movie and that's where I tapped out. Call me a skeptic but I somehow doubt that any of them have any deep or interesting insights on a shitty movie about a killer snowman.

I don't think that tariffs would solve all economic issues overnight, but they would help things start moving back in a positive direction. The loss of domestic manufacturing to dirt cheap third world nations has had disastrous ramifications for our country, hollowing out the middle class and making us dependent on hostile foreign nations (best illustrated when China was hoarding supplies during the coof). Making it possible for domestic industry to be competitive again by balancing out the price between us and them will only have positive effects in the long term, but it would require a dedicated commitment to the project, and you just know the next Dem president would undo everything because Orange Man Bad, ruining any progress made. So I dunno the long-term efficacy, but it's better than nothing.

Bob, of course, would hate for manufacturing to come back here because that means helping the Mayo Ghouls. I wonder if he realizes that manufacturing jobs used to be the primary way for black Americans to move up to the middle class...nah, definitely not.

Bob really doesn't understand that good people can be worn down over time by a world that abuses them and tells them to put up with it. Some have the patience of saints, but most people who are generally decent will eventually reach a breaking point and demand a change. It doesn't even have to be violent, but it will happen. Bob seems to think that if you ever once respond negatively to the liberal view of the world, then you must have been Hitler all along and can safely be discarded.

My favorite thing is how Bob is posting trailers for movies that RLM talked about years ago, so people who are watching their much more popular channel are already aware of these. Raw Force was covered in a Best of the Worst episode from nearly eight years ago, and Never Too Young to Die was in the very first episode from over a decade ago.

Surely this is the key to turning his channel around!

We talked about it a little bit when it was posted, but I don't think anybody bothered to watch it aside from @Princess Rescuer (their post here). As I mentioned in my reply back then, Bob is woefully late to this party, and on top of that he's lazily attempting to do reaction content without any clue of how to do it well. He's not interesting or engaging, he's not funny, he provides nothing of substance. All you're doing is watching three fat nobodies poorly reacting to a bad movie and giving up halfway through to just talk about whatever.

This is why most reaction content tends to be in response to short videos, because keeping up any kind of entertainment value for a whole movie requires a lot of prep work (like MST3K). This is also why channels that discuss movies and include watch footage only edit down to the good parts and cut out all the long sections of dead air and no jokes.

Surely this is the key to turning his channel around!
