Well, there isn't much to comment, because the critical Drinker didn't say anything about "realism", Robert is the one talking about it because he wants to sound smart by completely missing the point.

What the Drinker is talking about is perception, we intuitively perceive large masses as something to be difficult to move, and that goes beyond our observation on large animals, like Elephants or Giraffes, but everything in general. A Sports car will always seem more agile and faster than a truck.

So when you have a skyscraper sized monster that moves like a backflipping ninja, all your brain is going to tell you is that it is just a guy with a godzilla costume doing backflips. Fun tidbit but when working in the sequel, Godzilla Raids Again, the director INTENDED to have the monsters film in slow motion to convey size. But there was a communication mixup and the camera operator did it backwards*. Which is why in that movie Godzilla and Anguirus actually look comically sped up and there was no time go reshoot everything.

*easy to do. To film in slow motion you have to overcrank the camera to get more frames per second. If you film "slow" it will make things look faster as you have less frames per second.

You know what's best about this: What else is he going to latch onto? Yes you have the monster movies but they aren't as frequent as the MCU. Nintendo might be making a movieverse, but it's all going to be based on the current games, not the lore Bob grew up with. You have James Gunn's DC Universe, but superhero fatigue has set in and it won't do well. WB might even cancel the whole thing and go back to standalone franchises.

I had to look this up, but apparently filming ended last November. Not a month ago November, November 2022. Filming's been done for over a year, and now they're delaying it for another whole year? What could possibly necessitate spending two fucking years on post-production on a Marvel TV show?
