Ninja Assassin isn't foreign. It just sucks ass and not even the action and gore save it. The black female lead survives because ninjas in this universe are all autistic and stab you right through the heart but due to genetic shenanigans her heart is on her right side. This is a call back to the opening scene where some Asian guy is telling other people how he survived a ninja attack because his heart is on the wrong side. The evil ninjas are also defeated by flash lights and that's barely an exaggeration.

I wrote all that before I got to the part where he referenced Ninja Assassin and shit on a stick son, he explains what i said about the heart thing, calls it dumb, and still uses that shit ass movie as an example as to why just maybe a fatal or critical wound in our Universe might not be critical or fatal in the Star Wars universe because they be aliens and sheeeeeeit so who knows how their organs are laid out? He punctuates his point by playing a clip of Dragon Ball (the original one) where Goku survives a blast from Piccolo, stating that Piccolo missed his vital organs. Un-fucking-believable. All of that was in response to people being upset about bullshit and plot holes in "a space wizard movie".

Hmm, I guess it was a mistake to assume it was foreign, we Americans do love our Ninja Movies. I do still think that comparing a B movie that a lot of people have never heard of to Star Wars was a bit silly. I could compare it to Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, where they came up with a whole movie based around complex science fiction premises to explain how a character who had died was able to come back to life. Really, though, they should just have had him walk off the radiation exposure in Wrath of Khan, then they could have skipped the entire third movie!

Also, Ninja Assassin, based on the explanation does go through an explanation of how to survive the killing blow, but Star Wars does not because they just didn't care. So Ninja Assassin cared more about it's verisimilitude than Ahsoka or Kenobi did.

He does bring up the decision to bring back Darth Maul (in some cartoons, apparently). But that doesn't even compare, because at least they bothered to bring him back as a cyborg, he didn't just walk off being chopped in half by a lightsaber. It's still awkward and strains credulity, but it's better than, "getting run through by a lightsaber does literally nothing now."

The funny thing is one of his copes of never being able to afford property is that he's insistent he's too much of a vagabond to ever be tied down to one place and wants the freedom to move around...
