At the risk of a potential doxxing, there is a personal lolcow I used to follow who had a more popular blog back in the day. There was a point, as he descended down the insanity of leftism he wrote a post that basically expressed the need to do something about hate speech. I remember at the time I left a comment, "All well and good - until you're the nazi."

I forget exactly how it went from there (as I think the post is lost to time) but the comment section split apart over it, with the blog host and the fans of his that were supporting his descent into madness basically mocking or belittling my idea that they would "ever" be nazis. They had nothing to fear you see.
