I feel like one of the things that the Donald Trump era has shown is just how addicted large segments of the population are to being miserable. The only degree that fits - Interactive Media - This kind of degree was popular in the early 2000's. From what I recall, it was normally a community college two year deal. Bob's degree is only different because it required more liberal arts shit. Basically, you took one semester in photoshop, one in premier, one in web design, etc. Everything he learned was obsolete by the time broadband became widespread and browsers stopped fucking up CSS. The days of static html websites and Interactive Media Degrees were lost like stomped Goombas in the rain. Everything Bob is has been obsolete for more than a decade.

If you scored mediocre in the math portion of the SAT, you were done. At most, Bobert might have had to take one basic college math course. This explains a lot.
