I also want to say what's funny about Bob's incessant tweeting speculating about Sonic lore - which he could just ask the fanbase about - is that he's essentially come to this conclusion he thinks is brilliant... which is something the fans have been annoyed with for years and already pointed out back in like 2005 namely that Shadow takes the spotlight from Knuckles. Knuckles goes from Sonic's rival to being another part of his cast, but even then not to go all Sonic autismo as I havent seen that second movie or the third but it seems Knuckles and Shadow have very distinct roles beyond their vague archetypes of villain turned hero with a dark past

Namely Knuckles is played for humor because he's from a foreign culture and that can be mined for comedy but he's also a bit stupid even back from the game lore. Whereas Shadow has his own agenda he's trying to follow and is a bit more proactive with it. Yahtzee didn't get this either but the humor of a character like Shadow isnt that he quips every few seconds but instead how Sonic interacts with him, namely that Shadow is irritated by how he doesnt take anything seriously. Whereas Knuckles isnt nearly as serious a character, he has a code but he loves fighting and he loves joking around with his friends. This has been the dynamic ever since the Adventure games

I mean, you expect both fat ass and Yahtzee to actually ask fans for pointers? Fuck that noise, better make bullshit up and claim they're right about it, specially since its a franchise and characters they both despise and believe they're "still the kewl guyz" for ragging on it.

Well, he "compares" it insofar as he mentions it, and even spells the names of a few characters right, but he also misidentifies Aragorn as the protagonist and seems to be talking only about film version Aragorn, as book version is entirely determined to be King and knows his place in the world perfectly well. Beyond that, he seems to be talking pure nonsense, as the Aragorn/Boromir relationship doesn't look like this in either the film or the novel, and I sort of think he just mentioned it as a funny pop culture throwaway line. Reminds me of when he compared something to A Man For All Seasons when the only similarities anyone could theorize was that they were both English costume dramas.

As some pointed out in Yahtzee thread, he seems to just enjoy games that can be labelled as "2nd monitor" games, they dont need much time to master, have stuff that be called "oh it made me feel thingd", they can be finished within a week and he can quickly pump out his thoughts. I didn't get that far but I can safely guess he's talking about people who agree with him that Gunn is amazing, but one thing I wanted to note is the opening, where he claims he's too busy to shave his face and hair. Maybe it's just me but I think it's a better look for him than his usual one. He actually looks healthier and it's hiding a lot of his flaws. If I were him, or a family member, I'd tell him to keep growing the hair and beard out to see how it turns out.
