Body Found in Wyoming Park ‘Consistent With the Description' of Gabby Petito - FBI confirmed - Brian Laundrie still missing, FBI searched his home

LEO are saying now that the area was previously flooded. Still suspicious af that a day after the park is reopened for the public they happen to find him and pretty much near the entrance too. The area must have been flooded when Brian went in too so...???

Oh well. Curious to see if they can determine cause of death since they said "partial remains"". How the hell did he off himself in that swamp? Did he have a gun with him all along?
He was probably hoping to disappear completely into a gator to keep hurting her family, even after death by staying missing forever.

When the article mentions a white bag, I have to assume that is is this here white bag pictured in the article.

For those who don't know, that is an extremely large "dry bag" typically used by canoers or kayakers to keep everything dry. Fiber reinforced plastic so definitely something that would be used for wet gear. I would never take something that heavy backpacking. Great bags for cellphones & electronics. However I could see someone using something like that if they planned to travel through water such as creeks instead of trails.

Those bags are handy in case your canoe tips over as they float. And only a modest amount of experience with those bags will have you clipping them to your canoe or kayak so that they don't float away on you.

Well it is 100% Brian Landrie's stuff.
Michael McPherson, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Tampa office, said during a news conference that a backpack and notebook that belonged to Laundrie had been discovered among the items.

Keep in mind "what appears to be human remains" could be anything as most volunteers or public won't be able to tell the difference between human or animal bones & flesh unless you have something obvious such as an intact head, arm, leg, foot or torso, or fur.

Man it would be twisted if the body wasn't his own and he was trying to fake his death, but this is why dental records exist (if they even found a head). If he an hero'd this will be disappointing because we'll never know exactly why and how Gabby died.

I guess if we're lucky we'll get a few more posts from the spergs here about how all women deserve it because they put their dick in crazy (that wasn't worth it) and got stalked or how they want to fuck cripples.

@LocalFireDept They found Briand Landrie's notebook with the other items. If Brian Landrie an heroed odds are that he would have said something about what went on prior to offing himself. Even if they are obvious self serving lies of denial.

Edit to Add: I can't believe that crazy bitch made Briand Laundrie kill himself. This is all her fault. Gabby's parents must be made to pay.

Edit to Add2: In memory of Brian Laundrie. May he rest in pieces.

So they found his stuff, but they haven't identified the remains yet.

Well, that press conference was a complete waste of time.
No it wasn't, there was a very important detail given out - after finding the notebook they now classify her death as a murder, which is an escalation from the coroner report saying she died by homicide, and that Laundrie is a person of interest in her murder.

Murder has a more specific meaning in law enforcement, and before now he was only a person of interest in the bank fraud.

Now that he is probably dead, I can't wait for the waves of queer anarchists demanding that the surveilance state get even more powerful in order to stop more cases like these.

What a fucking waste. I still really like the conspiricy theory that all of this was to distract from the Afganistan chaos. It's certainly been a boon for Biden.

do y'all think he an hero'd or just had an unfortunate camping accident??

i guess the only justice gabby will get is that laundrie's parents have an incredibly expensive attorney bill b/c they had to keep that mf on retainer while he was galavanting in the woods and outrunning dog the bounty hunter for two months.
Too close to the park entrance to have been an accident, imo. Seems like it's like a 10-15 min walk from where the car was parked, literally just a few feet off the trail.

I am tired of the whole damn internet posting It sure is suspicious that his parents knew where to look...

They said from the beginning that it was one of the places he liked to go, and of course they would recognize his stuff, they lived with him!

Twitter and reddit is full of folks that never go outside or speak to other humans, I swear.

Idiotic theory that gets things totally backwards. It's not that this happened to distract from Afghanistan, it's that the media needed to pretend Afghanistan didn't happen so they fixate on whatever they can.

I just saw it on the news. I think he may have an hero'd. But it looks like the items were found in a place that had previously been underwater. Although it doesn't say when. So he could have been the victim of flooding. The East Cost has experienced some nasty storms.

I have no doubt those remains are Brian's.

And of course the news outlets also have to mention the controversy over Gabby's case getting attention over POCs. The energy you are using to complain could be put towards raising awareness instead you know.

Websleuths have deluded themselves into thinking they are better than experienced detectives. Watching Forensic Files and chatting with your fellow true crime loonies does not make you an expert. Notice none of them actually study forensic science or go for a career in law enforcement. They don't have the knack.

Not sure how bad it's been in North Port but from my experience and understanding the hurricane season's been pretty weak this year. It just doesn't line up to me that they literally had DIVERS but didn't find this stuff til now. Sure, standing water in Florida is gross and nobody wants to get in it, but now they have a body to handle that is way too far gone because it sat in a literal swamp.

I think you're overestimating the amount of everyday people that are seriously invested in this. Social media doesn't necessarily reflect reality. I find crime stuff interesting but I haven't paid much real attention to this case.

And even so murder cases have received nationwide notoriety for one reason or another for decades.

At least NINE bodies have been discovered since September during the massive searches for Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie

  • At least nine bodies have been found across the country during the manhunts for Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie
  • Since the Petito case made national headlines in September, renewed interest in missing persons and domestic violence cases have spiked
  • Several bodies have been found either in the locations of the Petito and Laundrie manhunts or because of increased interest
  • Petito's family recently founded the Gabby Petito Foundation to aid missing persons and domestic violence cases
  • Authorities have continued to search for Laundrie, the sole suspect in Petito's case, since he was reported missing on September 17

Judge Judah Kilawypipo: Laundrie may have committed one murder, but he's solved so many others. Not guilty by reason of karmic justice!

It's the only good thing to come of this. They might give some families closure and maybe get some more evidence for a suspect to other crimes.
