Boomer Hate Thread

It's disgusting how much of central TX, one of the most understatedly beautiful areas of the country, has been carved up for boomer developments
Concerns of the drought here are falling on deaf ears due in part to the real estate mogul mob focused on golf courses and wineries.

Also one other factor I’ve noticed with boomer towns is rehab places eventually spring up, in more numbers than you think. Boomers when they get settled in just have to drag their mentally ill, drug addicted millennial/upper Gen Z hellspawn for a fresh start to where they are.

I do wonder, when boomers croak off and when mommy and daddy aren’t paying for them or bailing them out, what’s the future of their drug rat offspring?

Jeets would rather cram into bugpods than live in an exurb 45 minutes away from work. The whole urge to “get away from the city life” into a shoddily made spec house in a planned suburb/exurb is a purely white boomer concept. Once the boomers die, so will these communities. All that will be left out there are section 8 “mixed income” apartments that are there purely because of HUD funding, which were installed out of spite. It won’t take long before community activists start chimping out about how section 8 housing is intentionally out in the middle of nowhere, due to raycism of course.

Why do so many older adults obsess over living to ages that most people don’t live to? Not a boomer, but a Gen Xer: skateboarder/reality star/Ridiculousness host Rob Dyrdek. He wants to live to 114 years so that he can see “a million hours”. Besides the fact that he will be asleep for a third of those hours, there is a reason why most people don’t live that long. But Dyrdek thinks that he will be okay until “a million hours”. He doesn’t consider that aging isn’t always graceful and that people don’t always die when they want to. What if he’s 94 and on life support, but his caregivers tell the doctors to keep him alive another 20 years, would they do it? It would be stupid and a waste of money.

A couple of my friends were hanging out at the end of his road and the boomers called the cops on us. This old fucking nigger boomer. And these fucking two boomer cops got angry because we wouldn't give them our IDS because we said we're not committing any crimes. And we are allowed to hang out at the end of someone's driveway. He's like he tried to cite a bunch of bullshit. And then eventually. Wasted an hour of our time, his supervisor showed up. And told him he was a fucking idiot.
Regardless of race, Boomers are entitled . Kill all boomers.

If only it was only about the life support; I've heard too many horror stories from people who ended up in a hospital room with some boomer. Like, not only they snore like hell, they also switch on the TV the moment they wake up at 6AM and watch it on max volume until it's the time to snore again.
I swear that if I ever end up in a room with such person, I will ask someone to bring my toolbox and will snip the wires right inside the TV socket.
Or I'd just sign the waiver and die.

Respectfully disagree, at least partially. Yes, wanting to be in a shitty tract house in a planned community does seem to be a boomer trait. (anecdotally plenty of gen X does this too, however) But the general idea of getting away from cities/minorities by living elsewhere does have some traction among millenials/genZ. But they usually tend to choose older established suburbs, or build their own house on rural acreage.

I recall that Obama specifically pushed Section 8 and other types of subsidized housing into predominantly-white small towns for supposed "equity" reasons. Also that Clinton indirectly caused the 2008 crash by loosening mortgage lending rules in the late 90s, for the explicit goal of poor minorities being more easily able to buy houses. But those have already been forgotten by leftists, just like Obamacare driving up healthcare costs. So your prediction is probably accurate.

Boomers enraged about chicken.

Back in the eighties in America there were a whole bunch of moral panics around foodborne illness. Everyone believed all the pork had trichinosis, all the eggs had salmonella, and all the beef had bovine spongiform. It's why we got meat industry catchphrases back then like "It's what's for dinner!" and "The other white meat!" as the beef and pork industry tried to run cultural interference over what was basically urban legends that got carried away in supermarket tabloids and daytime talk shows.

Even though all of it was mostly baseless, it still led to a lot of booms having irrational fears about it for decades afterwards. Only very recently has my own dad finally stopped cooking hamburgers on the grill all the way down until they look like hockey pucks.

Boomers banned their kids from going outside because of crime and now want to take away their phones because they think they cause crime.

I’m referring to the “Peckercrest Ridge Addition 3” type of communities here in my post. Suburban-type sprawl in the far flung exurbs and “bedroom communities” because gas and mortgages were cheap. Small towns that have lots of sprawl where you see the old part of town and then all these suburban tracts. Generation X, millennials, etc. tend to go more towards the old part of town by comparison, which invites its own set of issues but I credit them for being somewhat aware of how unsightly suburban sprawl has become and how unsustainable it is.

Lots of real estate developers jumped headfirst into these “mixed income” section 8 developments because it was a steady flow of money. These will be all that’s left for many of the suburbs, likely within 20 years. These places are screwed because these section 8 developments focused on muh equity require affluent whites to leech off of.

By god I dunno if this belongs in the niggercattle finance thread or here but the worst thing about boomer family is how they never listen to you with things that are common sense. Namely, when it comes to not falling for scams. I've got a boomer family member who is always complaining about how something she bought off a random Facebook ad that goes to a site that wants your Paypal info looks nothing like what's shown on the ad (despite constantly talking shit, even before AI, how the burgers in fast food commercials never look like the slop they serve you). Like there's no real reviews, nothing that shows its legit, but she wants it and wants it NOW!
I've told her to return it, to request a refund from Paypal, and she's just like "noooo, it's not worth it" all defeated-like. And now somehow she's struggling to pay bills. Because she keeps fucking doing it. This has been like 5 fucking times in the past month.

they never gave a fuck about anyone regardless of if they were white or brown. all that meant was more money and debt slaves for the banks and more money for the health insurance companies and those who actually do the surgery n shit

"im still mentally young my body may be slowly degenerating around me and i have arthritis in my knees but im still young at heart trust me bro"

it feels like some of gen x (the suburban driving chick fil a eating white moms) simply follows in the boomer's footsteps. the asshole cops in this video are a prime example of that, especially the ginger one

genuinely why does bringing up crime make them shake in fear all the time? is it because that was all the media kept bitching about from like the 80s-2000s? is it because of some regret for crazy shit they did when they were younger? and it always seems to revolve around crime through youth too. this isnt the 1950s anymore niggas arent running around with switchblades and zip guns anymore. there are barely even enough kids to keep that shit going because the same boomers shat the bed when it came to keeping birthrates up yet they still make it public enemy #1.

One very sad fact that line must go up on housing is that the only goal is so boomers can sell their mcmansions and fuck everything else.

Not even one hundred years ago in western civilization families wanted to keep things like land and homes to at least a Designated Heir, who either lived together with the older folks or was expected to move into the house when the patriarchs died. Now, one would think that maybe we could compromise and sell the house to the younger generation, right? Theoretically this would work, boomers get their money, younger generation gets a family home.

But nah, the government is in on this. They decide your home is worth more each year, and this you pay more and more property taxes.
It's to the point a lot of people my generation would rather just sell their boomers parents homes EVEN if they did wanted it and were given it (lol as if!) because they wouldn't be able to afford the upkeep.

This makes no fucking sense to me. Who's buying these mcmansions then? I know the market is terrible for them but they are being sold...
Blackrock-style companies to they can make shitty apartments to shove 100s of immigrants where one big family was?

Home sales dropped 8.4% in January from
December and dropped over 4% year over year: https://finance.yahoo.com/news/us-existing-home-sales-drop-151034311.html

You just can’t have a thriving housing market when costs are spiraling out of control and over a million jobs were lost last year. Something’s got to give and we see it with these piss poor home sales. Who in their right mind would spend $400-500k on a house if they will get laid off and replaced with a jeet? The real surprise is that sales haven’t totally cratered yet.

I honestly feel like people on the left who are concerned about housing/apartment affordability are going to have to swallow the huge pill
(To them) that total deportation of illegals is one of the big solutions to affordability.
