Boomer Hate Thread

I get what you're saying but don't you think "hundreds of thousands" let alone "tens of millions in the bank." is a bit of an overshoot? That's not your typical middle-class boomer, now we're just talking about straight up rich people.
I'm including rich people. I knew a multi millionare boomer who would measure out his bathwater for the week, one gallon per week, go to mcdonalds take handfuls of ketchup and put them into a bottle at home, and all kinds of shit. These people are absolutely mental.

The rich ones will always drone on about how their money/assets could be taken away any day by the government/elon musk/whatever. 100k-50 million they all have that skid row tomorrow mindset

A large chunk of rich boomers are really weird about weird shit because they stumbled ass backwards into their money during the easier times and when they had like no competition in any realistic sense. They contribute their wealth to bullshit like picking pennies off the Walmart parking lot and saving them up and only eating rice for every meal. Their advice for getting ahead is complete bull and it's especially hilarious because half the shit they come up with is just straight made the fuck up. It's not even anything they have first hand experience with they just hallucinate some slogan and pat themselves on the back for their superior wisdom.

So like monthly subscription for lawn service? That how im reading it, im actually surprised they are "kinda" not full blown pissed, ive seen boomers drop people for less.
It's not like that price doesn't include. Absolutely every single thing we clear. Basically your entire loan. We are a all inclusive service. And people are getting confused about it. And they're acting like. It costs more. It's actually we're charging less for the monthly subscription service we're starting next year. They actually pay more now.
Also, I figured out boomers are a lot like Indians. I just keep giving them a higher price than negotiating down to where I wanted to be at anyways.

has there been no mention yet of boomers' dictatorial control over thermostats? whenever i travel with my dad whether it's a hotel room or some other room he has control over he will IMMEDIATELY make a beeline towards the thermostat and set it to what he feels is appropriate which is usually at or below 60 degrees
and god forbid you leave the front door open for 0.5 seconds YOU ARE LETTING MONEY FLY OUT THE DOOR

>go to coding school
>it’s nothing but jeets
>never get hired because you’re not a smelly jeet
>”just work harder and pull yourself up by the bootstraps damn it!”

Also, can we talk about how the culture war has affected boomers? I know boomers were always typically the political obsessed generation, but prior moving down to Texas my dad was not. I don’t think I ever heard my parents even talk about politics before I was 18.

We move down to Texas and dad starts hanging out with more of the rural Republican folks. It wasn’t too bad at first, especially before 2018/19/20. Around 2020 we started having large neighborhood gatherings in the backyard where a bunch of boomer neighbors would come by for drinks. Politics would always be spat out like 5 minutes in, and any good buzz I would be feeling from my drinks would get ruined because I don’t want to hear about politics while I’m trying to have a good time.

For the past 6-7 years, my dad watches fox from sunrise to sunset. If he doesn’t have it on the tv, he is looking at the app on his phone or some AI cringe slop from our neighbors. Has it on as he’s falling asleep. He’s grouchier, more paranoid, and angrier than what I remember. Doesn’t want to go anywhere unless if it’s god bless America Yankee Doodle dandy land.

Always tells me to worry about things that I can only control, and mentioned to him today that the news he watches is something he can’t control, that he watches it all day and that it isn’t good for him. He denied watching the news all day(despite literally coming home from work 75% of the time and both my parents asleep to fox) then mentioned that the video games I play aren’t good for me.
Well at least the things in video games I can control because well…it’s a video game.

I miss my old dad….

Just, like, go to the CODE SCHOOL, duh! They'll just GIVE YOU THE CODES! Just like that! Then you go to the code dealership and trade 'em in for $150K ez pz!

Print Screen button. Open Paint. Paste into Paint. Make notes. No need to drive yourself insane trying to get the printer to work. Seriously, fuck printers.

People only eating at restaurants once a year was strange nonsense... as though restaurants and diners could survive off that.

"Print.....screen button? *stares closely at keyboard* Is that one of these moon rune buttons on the bottom down here? Why caaaaaaan't I just do what I have been doing since 1992 HUH? Why do all you computer guys always insist on changing everything all the time? Why do I need to restart for updates AGAIN? I'm gonna lose all my windows just like last time! This is why I neeeeeed to print everything out!"

Funny, a lot of high paid positions (lawyers, pharmacists, accountants, etc) offer no value to society and exist to profit/exploit the systems.
And all these positions are protected in Canada and the US because of the regulations needed to become. However we are replacing real jobs such as truck drivers with Pajeets and seeing people get killed on a daily basis now in Canada. I hate doctors, lawyers, and teachers (make 6 figures in Toronto as average) because they the most leftist pushing fags for mass immigration. Their jobs protected and don't care about others. And boomers happy to replace real workers cause on paper Rajesh speaks English and has the certificate (fake we all know).

Boomers moved all manufacturing to China and have inflated our money supply to buy that crap from them. Inflation is basically because the boomers wanting a luxury lifestyle of not working but at same time the ability to buy anything they want. Now in their retirement years we keep printing money for their healthcare and retirement funds. I think boomers in France now make more in retirement than the average worker there lol. What's the point of even working?

A lot of talk about housing prices. Forget housing, I can't even find work. When I was in highschool 10 years ago there was talk of all these boomers retiring. Surprise Surprise boomers aren't retiring from corporate or government roles. They are the first generation where white collar work became common.
I have been kind of wondering why all the boomers I've known as family and family friends have actually been pretty cool. They were all blue collar. Their jobs involved actually working. Even the ones who actually did work for the government did shit like fixing machines.

You're a vantablack gorilla nigger for thinking this. Lawyers can be scumy but there's a reason virtually all countries in the world have a legal system, without it, there's simply no way to formally settle disputes and accusations. Pharmacists literally research, manufacture and prescribe the drugs that form the backbone of our health. Accountants keep track of the money in the world and provide an invaluable service to figure out if you or your company are profitable, I intentionally avoided mentioning taxes because muh system but they've been a reality for millenia so accountants are even more valuable.

tbh i would go back to peak legal system: Rome. There the lawyers were a non formal position filled by administration types that could study similar cases and settle law through precedents. Also, lawyers in the Roman Empire were paid in "Honorarium". This meant their payments were as a gratitude since the position was a non formal one.

Much like how in Ancient Greece some guy started to work as a Psychiatrist listening to people's problems and despite how well he was doing he thought the job was retarded and beneath him

Even in the 2000s and 2010s this type of advice was totally nonsensical because people rarely ever do powerwashing on their homes unless they live in an HOA or are about to sell the place. In which case, they'd probably do it themselves or hire somebody with experience as opposed to trusting a retarded teenager who's gonna blow the paint off their walls or fuck up the other exterior detailing. Businesses aren't an option either because they never do work with a single random guy; they always have a contractor that they've known for years do it.
This isn't even mentioning the fact that nobody is making 150k a year "coding" nowadays and there's no way in hell 10k would be enough for the tuition unless you get scholarships.
