Read Genasis 11:1- . It's a bizarre story if you really think about it and it may be the BIGGEST contradiction in the Bible when you read the last two verses of Chapter 10.

Contradiction? Not really. Chapter Ten of Genesis78 gives us a quick rundown of the descendents of Noah over the course of several, and shows how they were spread across the land, each to their tongues. Chapter Eleven then bring us the story of the Tower of Babel, which explains WHY they had different tongues and were scattered: basically because God didn't want a lot of people knocking on His doorpost (I don't blame Him for that, it's so hard to keep mezuzah clean when you have a lot of visitors). It then re-iterates the separation of the families. If you read Chapter Ten (most people tend to skip over the begats) you'll see a lot of the same names in Chapter Eleven. It's sort of like on TV when they show something that happens, then go back to show you HOW it happened. Perhaps if you'd read ALL of Chapters Ten and Eleven you would have seen how they were connected.

Now, if you want to talk about contradictions:
