💼 Careercow Brandon "Bam" Margera - From Jackass to Lolcow

I've given it some thought and figured out why Bam has such a following while Steve-O was mostly eh before he started his podcast. Bam and the CKY crew had charisma about them, as did Johnny Knoxville. Steve-O I guess was too drunk to make witty comments in Jackass. I even find Steve-O's podcast incredibly boring.

I always wondered why I seemed to skip Steve-O's stunts in Jackass while focusing on Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera and Ryan Dunn. Watching his podcast explains it: back then he was true drunk to have character, now he's not drunk he's just plain boring. As boring as Linus Tech Tips and likewise selling junk to his audience, thinking about it. All he needs now is to have his videos sponsored by LastPass.

Steve-O was legitimately a horrorcow at his apex. I’ll never forget the time my uncle got the uncensored DVD “Steve-O Don’t Try This At Home” and my Mom who was cool with her kids watching Jackass and laughed along with it finally put her foot down and told us to leave the den because it was too much.

Steve-O infamously staple guns his nutsack to his thighs, destroys a hotel room throwing shit on the walls like a literal ape. It has maybe a few clown stunts but most of it is a guy who lost his mind on drugs and booze.

I don’t think Steve-O was bad on the show necessarily and I still love Wildboyz (it was great seeing him and Pontius get messed up by exotic animals) but he is boring now and he should be. He’s 50 for crying out loud.

Bam grew up lower middle class with a hairdresser mother and supermarket baker father next to the town's sewage treatment plant; because it was all his parents could afford for their two boys. They spoiled the fuck out of Brandon so he wouldn't feel like he "grew up poor", and this method of parenting backfired hugely when he became a teenage spendthrift with his first skateboarding endorsements and never matured beyond that mentality, skill level, or penis size.

Bam also famously was bulimic.
You can kinda train your body to throw up, saw it in a friend of mind and even after she was fat as a tick would still puke easily just cause it was like she fucked her esophagus up.
Maybe another reason
Bulimic + fat + old + out of shape + alcohol + meth = puking after minor physical exertion Earth Rocker
