I meant that it seemed like he was working in the gaming space for a few years at the time of GG, you're right that he has never showed anything really. Very cagey about everything. The only game he seems to have worked on had awful character designs and just looked like a piece of shitty shovelware, not even B-Game material.

He has made recent comments that trans women are not women until they get the surgery. He might have larped as a woman, but the only job would have had at that time was at gamestop when his parents cut him off. It wasn't until he had access to Frank's bank account that he started his woman in tech/gaming larp.

For as much as John brags about how he's hired hundreds of people, he has never been hired in a skilled position. He has never had to prove himself. Even volunteer projects kick him out.

He started cross dressing on occasion while still at Ole Miss as per the Bluejean Bandit thread, best guess is he only started wearing women's clothing full time from the summer of 2006 onward. You can see Johnny boy out in women's clothing in the Colorado stop the war protest photo from 2007.

So by the time he met Frank, John had been on hormones for 20 months or so and had been living full time as a women for perhaps 14 months of that.

I can't say I'm surprised that John not only ripped off the name of his comic from a ska album (I can easily see him dancing frenetically to ska while drugged out), but also straight up copied the font from the cassette. I doubt he managed to identify it by sight, so he probably scanned it and erased the shadows.

I'm not one for ska, but that song is fantastic and 100% problematic in Current Year+9. Even if it can't describe John because he went the other way, one does have to wonder if it put ideas into his head. Have a listen:

It's a very famous font - on par with papyrus and comic sans. I think most people with a casual interest in typefaces would immediately recognize it:
