He's really staking out a hard (hehe) position on this compared to the circles he's used to. I actually think he's going way to the "right" of the audience he's chasing too but at the same time coming up way short of that position because he doesn't understand their position. The "enlightened centrist" position would be more like "they shouldn't do that and should be asked to leave" not burying them under the jail but John knows that wouldn't make him "relevant" enough so he has to posture for clout and attention by taking a harder position. Yet at the same time John's coming up short by saying that "family-friendly Pride events" should be a thing in the first place when the "right"-audience is going to reject this concept even harder than they would some dude's doing Kink at Pride or whatever. They'd see it as what you're going to get by having Pride events at all, not that this was one step too far.

I think John's angle is "whatever will get me as a guest on the most political podcasts" because he still wants to be a celebrity, without having to do any work himself. John aspires to be a useless, overpaid talking head whose sole purpose is to fill time while the network waits for actual news to happen.

This is not to say that a person can't change their minds, or that after a long absence someone might develop rose tinted glasses about a place they used to live. I just want to say wait... John only lived in Mississippi 8 years? I thought he grew up there all his life? He talks about it like he forged the ground that was laid. He was Mississippi, fuck off. That's like saying that I'm a floridian cause my uncle lives in Florida and I've been to Disney land before. Or like telling people you found a stack of cash when it's a 5 dollar bill someone lost on the street.

Johnny boy did actually live in MS for most of his life, until about the age of 29. However, this statement was made at a time when Wu was pretending she was from Washington DC for some reason.

It won't surprise you to learn that, in that case as in many others, John was lying. Bare minimum, he lived there for over a decade, if not most of the first 28 years of his life.

We know that John was born in Virginia when his dad was stationed there, and at some point they moved to the Hattiesburg area in Mississippi, at least long enough to graduate from Hattiesburg High School. He went to both Ole Miss and Millsaps for college, so that covers a whole decade of failing to get a single degree, minus a brief stint in D.C. failing at interning for Trent Lott. He only left the state for good when his parents finally cut him off.

So yes, he does have a legitimate claim to being a Mississippi native, unless you want to split hairs because he wasn't born there.

Do we have any info regarding the circumstances of John's conception (parentage, and their ages at conception, for example) that might explain why he looks so fucking freakish, even before trooning out?

As far as we know, John is the odd one out. Photos of his parents show them to look normal; when he was born, they would have been in their late 20s, not that out of the ordinary, certainly not the age where you get a complete tard. While I don't think anyone's done a huge amount of digging into his siblings' lives, the fact that they don't have thousands of pages here documenting their antics suggests they are relatively normal.

I think ol' Johnny Boy just got dealt a bad genetic hand, one that he has only made worse through drug abuse and trooning out. (See above.)

Did Wu get more work done on her fucked up chin, or is it just an artifact of the ridiculous level of filters she's using? I swear, I'd be so disappointed if Wu led us to believe she had some debilitating ailment she had to get surgery for and it was just one more cosmetic surgery.
