This ad, where do I even start? Frank just leads in by talking about "Brianna" as if anyone's supposed to know who that is or why anyone is talking about her. Nowhere in the ad is it even mentioned that this is about a Congressional campaign until two minutes in. How many people are going to listen to two minutes of some nerd gushing over his "wife" (while not even making eye contact with the camera) to get to that point?

And, leaving aside how anti-feminist it is to have a man do all the speaking for a stunning, brave woman: let's examine the substance. According to Frank, Brianna's accomplishments are:
- Protesting George Bush 10 years ago
- Getting targeted by "the alt-right" and being very, very scared
- "Not backing down" from... some unspecified thing.

And what's so bad about Stephen Lynch that you should vote for someone else? Apparently that he didn't personally storm 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue with a pitchfork and torch the instant The Donald took office.

This video really is proof that the Wus have no friends whatsoever, because it's quite obvious no human gave feedback on this at any point in the production.

That was definitely shot in their house because you can clearly see the flag painting behind Frank. The one John bragged about buying for his campaign. This is all political theater to him.

This occurred to me immediately after I posted my reaction, but I held back on saying it because I already edit my posts too much. But it seems to me that, following the multitude of attempts at the same thing that were done for Hillary!, the point of this ad is, believe it or not, to humanize Brianna Wu, as if that person were some sort of technological giant that the country knows of but doesn't really know as a person, and gosh, wouldn't it be swell to see how much her husband loves her and looks up to her! Aren't the voters in MA-8 just going to melt when they hear about what a wonderful crusading woman they have the chance to vote for! They met cute! Her husband can't talk about her without practically giggling for joy!

Then she appears and it's a fucking walking corpse fresh from a Romero movie. No, not one of the good ones.

(Seriously, her appearance almost counts as a jump scare. Everything about it is off, from the makeup to the lighting to the embalmed look in her eyes.)

God I hope John makes it to a debate with Lynch. :popcorn:

He voted for the Iraq war. He voted against Obamacare. He even said "the press has been unfair to Donald Trump." He said we should "wait and see" what Donald Trump does.

Brianna is not prepared to "wait and see." Unlike Stephen Lynch, Brianna is going to stand up and fight Donald Trump.

The spelling and formatting errors aside, that's utterly repellent to anyone with half a brain. The blatant money grubbing and cheap attacks on her opponent as a "Republican in a cheaper suit" ought to be enough to disqualify Wu permanently from any political office. It must be galling to be a guy like Lynch, who genuinely seems to care about the people he represents and tries to do his best for them, to have to run against such a disgusting liar and opportunist.

Good shot to show how low his ears are compared to his eyes. Also, his eyebrows are stuck in that crooked position during his whole appearance in the video. They couldn't have watched the video and done another take?

Yet they retain plausible deniability because it looks like it's just sloppy phrasing.

I can't find the tweet but didn't Wu say he was going on Boston's NBC affiliate, not NECN, a station whose news programming is a distant second in viewership to The Phantom Gourmet?

Yup. In typical Wuperbole, Wu says NBC in Boston when she means a cable channel in Boston that happens to be owned by NBC. No one watches NECN.
