I saw that, people are actually loosing their shit over this in a good way. They're eating it up.
Except, apparently all tumblr alternitives ultimately fail so why are they still wasting their money? I thought they wanted to make a pet site, apparently that's still a thing but it's an affiliated site called Nexuspets. I mean, good for them for catching a positive audience but I kind of think they should focus on one thing at a time.
Edit: oh yes, I think they do actually know about this thread because they have actually responded to a lot of criticisms we've made here. If they do know, they're doing a pretty good job not getting angry and keeping it on the low down, as they should. The only criticism they haven't responded to yet is that they're still not showing off the pet art, but I kind of think they're focusing on the tumblr alternitive site and then taking the money earned from that and putting it towards the pet site. This is my guess, I mean all the artists are unpaid so I don't know how many of them are still sticking around.
I'm interested to see where the project goes because they're kind of getting their shit together, good job!

Well, then the tumblr cows move on to a new site and we have a new site to mock since that would be the new breeding ground for lolcows. Hell, if something like Inkstand actually gets launched, I am certain that the SJWs/tumblrinas will be moving there and that would become the new breeding farm for lolcows. And keep in mind Inkstand could easily out-tumblr Tumblr itself, especially considering the fact that the SJWs are definitely supporting that project.
 
I'm just flabbergasted that they thought the combination of a virtual pet site and abuse support group was a good idea. What is the target audience? Who thinks "I'm ready to share my deepest fears and insecurities with the world, but only if I can level up my Neopets while I do so"? What happens when kids sign up to play with the cute animals and everyone on the forum is talking about how they got raped?

They never really brought up the "abuse survivor support community" angle much, which is why it might be a good thing they split the two sites up.
Oh, and they're doing pretty damn well atm. They have more than half their goal in 3 days donated by almost 70 people

 
They changed the name and logo like three times. I get the feeling this isn't gonna be run well.
