Oregon leaving would never happen. Take away Portland and Eugene and the state's as red as Texas.

As another Californian, I'd like to add that any "Calexit" would likely result in Northern California fracturing from southern California and staying in the Union.

The precedent set by the civil war was to pardon everyone involved rather than bring the whole matter before the supreme court and risk having them say the south had a right to secede, so there's nothing set in stone. They could theoretically petition for consent to secede. Otherwise they'd probably have to win a war to do it.
 
Our very own @LordKaT had a stream earlier, and there was a quick discussion on why we wouldn't allow California to secede even without the precedent of the Civil War: San Diego has a massive U.S. Naval Base. So even if California pulled it off, there's no FUCKING way they get San Diego.

Also, good luck getting by without the cheap hydroelectric power from up here in Washington, asshole! The Columbia owns your Starbucks drinking iPhone tapping asses!

*Texas can leave the US anytime it wants, as was agreed upon it's annexation.
 
Let's see how well they do when the big earthquake comes and rocks their world.
They'll be begging Trump for financial aid. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and Trump will look down and whisper "No."
 
Some media organisation really needs to start an "X days since Trump was elected and the following high profile Californians still haven't left the country" clock.
