Even better, Warzone challenges still pop up. You'd think with removing Warzone, they'd remove those files as well. But they have the ability to update half the start screen with Call of Duty as a PLATFORM.

The main reason why I want to skip out on MWII, III is their bloated file size for skins and Warzone II.

You're not wrong. I distinctly remember one of the developers emphasizing their intent on keeping weapon camouflages as grounded as possible. Damn if I can find it.

On that point, CoD has an identify crisis with its monetization being at odds with its realistic approach starting with MW2019. The campaign, maps, and artistic direction takes itself so seriously, yet allows wacky cosmetics and cross promotional material to manifest its customization for a fee.

Cold War could get away with it because it's an arcade shooter at heart. But, why on Earth would Nicki Manaj wear all pink in a desert biome?

This new logo style isn't doing it for me.
 
I feel like a boomer when playing Call of Duty nowadays. I commonly see players exploit its movement by "drop shooting," "slide cancelling," basically just strafing all over the place through high sensitivity or animation glitching. Meanwhile, I'm just learning how to slide or dolphin dive.

It's not fun seeing some outfitted soldier just glide behind you or bunny hop in front of you to get a kill while you can barely react in time.

I hate this game so much. It's so broken and yet they spend most of their time on making overpriced skins instead of fixing connection issues or getting dedicated servers. The gulag in Warzone is not representative of the MP gameplay and it suckered me into get MW2 after not playing COD for years.

They got the OG freeman to voice alucard though. And it is awesome.

This really is just making me want to buy MW2 on sale so I can play alucard in team death match. Do you get points for warzone if you do that?

Nu MW:
>Pretended to have non-combatants as a feature, only occurs in one mission
>Pretended to have a more complex and "grey" story, literally just bad guys vs good guys again
>Pretends to cover modern geopolitical issues, doesn't say or do anything interesting with them
>Story has no major stakes
>Story has no real consequences
>Literally no one of note dies

OG story feels like a fun dumb action movie. Nu story feels like it's trying to be a more "serious" thriller (something like Sicario perhaps), but doesn't have the balls to actually say or do anything.

I stopped playing around BO4(Great game, don't @me) and tried MW4/2019 a little bit since I liked the beta. Dropped out around the time Warzone took over the game like a parasite and had more fun with Mobile, ironically enough. Bough Cold War on sale for when I want to play Zombies again and haven't looked back since, doesn't look like I missed anything. COD is in such a hole right now even a MW Zombies crossover isn't going to save it, and that's ridiculous when you consider how big that would have been less than 10 years ago.
Those new skins are ridiculous, COD really is a joke now. I still remember when they cut out Zombies from MW4/2019 due to "problems with realism" and now we have Skeletor and anime characters running around. I think fortnite might unironically be less cringe at this point, since that game is clearly catered to kids AND it's a cartoon world with barely any lore so this kind of shit can fly, COD is just making a mockery of itself because retards are willing to throw wads of money their way to play as their favorite cartoon character.
