Call of Duty Thread - Potential return to form? Or nothing but cope on the horizon? You decide!

They STILL haven't named the factions in multiplayer??!! Have fun playing a WW2 game where you're playing "MY TEAM" against "ENEMY TEAM."
Do they even have factions? I thought that the specialists could be used on both sides, like in BF2042.

No. It's "MY TEAM" and "ENEMY TEAM." That's just lazy.

Vanguard looks functional but barebones. I would not be able to distinguish it from other WW2 shooters.

The final camo looks like shit, especially for zombies. How could SHG fuck up some good final camos when they put Chrome Tiger and Royalty Tiger in their previous WW2 COD?

So like...are there any actual nazi operators? Or is it just like allies and nazi's can be on the same team?

Someone told me Cold War originally didn't have factions during the beta, and that it was super obvious that the factions were created last minute as they had to throw Powers Stone and Vargas onto Warsaw as "traitors" and turned Beck from being a West German to an East German.

I wonder if they just figured "fuck it" after that fuck up.

The writers probably thought that "marry" would sound better than "rape".
Are you trying to say that in WW2, Allied soldiers would force themselves into German women? And that line indirectly references that without making it sound bad?

How the fuck do you go from this?

I mean the WW2 camos are decent, they are at least good looking and make fucking sense, but SHG really just put together random dogshit for vanguard final camos that don't compliment the gun well at all.

"Marry your women?" I don't get it. Where did THAT come from? I'm pretty sure war soldiers weren't targeting female civilians to "marry."
It was the writers' attempt to come up with an "epic burn" by having the Based Black Man say that he and his people are totally fucking all the the German chicks. The woketards that wrote this game probably thought it was the most brilliant thing ever.

It's a rather controversial subject, but Japan has actually made multiple apologies for their actions during WWII. Heck, the NHK, one of Japan's leading broadcast stations, even did a documentary at one point covering their war crimes.

All things considered, while they do need to at least be made more aware of what they did during that time, dwelling on it is not gonna do anything helpful. At this point, I doubt China and South Korea are even gonna accept any form of apology, as the hate they have is far too strong. And given how Germany has turned out with their constant self-flagellation over their past, maybe Japan has had the right idea the whole time (but still, they do need to better educate their children on how messed up their actions in WWII were).
Colloquial opinion incoming -

My son has a friend who was born in China and, although he emigrated to the US, still goes back and visits regularly. I asked him how the Chinese feel about the Japanese. He said the old people still hate them but, for the most part, the young people actually love Japan and everything Japanese.

How Zombies started from humble beginnings. I don't understand how people could just randomly tap the action button around random places for fun.
Honestly I used to love zombies but it had become a confusing mess by Black Ops 4. I feel like Cold War made it a little more accessible again so hopefully they're on the right track now.

It started to become self-aware and intentionally memey and it immediately lost the appeal.

The camos were shitty like this in Black Ops Cold War too.

The target demo is fortnite faggots now, I'm pretty sure.

Worth a Buy has released his review of Vanguard, this might be the worst CoD campaign ever made.
It seems pretty retarded from what I've seen. I'll be genuinely impressed if they managed to make a campaign worse than BO3's.
