The only youtuber - that I know - who used to shit on CoD was Eight Thoughts but he got banned from YT after he a-logged a big CoD paid shill.
 
The only YTer that I watch for CoD is Blametruth because he doesn't suck the games ass and he tends to bitch about the stuff I also hate.

I was looking for some COD critical streams by players or pros and couldn't find anything solid. Instead, I found a podcast where 2 betas

I'm going to go out on a limb and say any youtuber that exclusively or heavily follows a single franchise is a shill. It's part of the business. They need to shill to get continuing access.

On top of that, any gaming youtuber in general that has a following or is making corporate money is probably a shill for the very same reason.

I'm going to assume the average CoD player is 12-24.

I'm 31, but I stopped playing CoD after Black Ops 2 (well I played the AW campaign because I got it for free with my PS4 but I never played the multi and sold it right away). I only came back to Modern Warfare 2019 because my friends came back for it, and I really got into Black Ops Cold War because I love Black Ops 1 and I love 80's shit. Most people I know who came back came back for the same reasons, but also didn't stick with Cold War or Modern Warfare past the first season.

I'm not buying Vanguard, and I don't even really know if I'll get the next Modern Warfare. I'm pretty burnt out after completing all battle passes in Cold War so far. And the last two I only pushed through at the very end. Even now I'm not sure if I even want to finish this last season. I've surely got my 10 dollars back by now, and I honestly don't use any of the bullshit I unlock so it's like why am I doing this?

He covered Zombies lore, and made some thorough breakdowns of the story. Anyway, at some point a year or two ago the guy trooned out, changing his channel name to Vixarya. At that point, he went off the deep end, releasing videos about how the lesbian kiss in BO4 was offensive or some shit and a whole host of other SJW topics. I had given up on his channel as soon as he trooned out (before this video), and completely forgot he existed not long after.

With CW's release, I intended to go back and rewatch some of those lore videos, to try to catch up on the story again. Well, apparently in November of last year (if SocialBlade is to be believed) he DFE'd his whole channel, disappearing off the face of the Internet. I haven't found any archives of his stuff, save for a reaction video of one of the last videos he made.

You can hear his voice if you can suffer through this faggot's shitty reactions.
(I hadn't seen this before, holy shit, it's even cringier than I thought. He actually says "She should be protected from the male gaze" at one point.)

The only clue I have to the whole situation is a Reddit thread (A) discussing it, although (Redditors being Redditors) they make sure you understand they are NOT transphobic. Apparently, he got called out hard on the political agenda shit, and couldn't handle getting laughed at. When even Reddit can't stand you despite being a tranny, you've got a problem.

A shame really, I enjoyed his brand of autism. (I'm fairly certain he had actual autism, the link between the auts and troonery keeps growing.)

Quick edit - This is strange, apparently he may have been an ageplay fetishist? Maybe there's some other explanation, but I don't know what "weird ass baby video" could refer to otherwise. I don't think the video itself exists any more, so this is all speculation.

Late as fuck reply, but I have some more context since I was around at the time. I was in Nixaru's Discord when his Ancient Evil review came out, but I wasn't active. After the fallout of that video, he fucking deleted the entire Discord probably because people were making fun of him. He has a tendency to just shut down and delete shit when people make fun of him.

After he trooned out, he uploaded a new lore video explaining the entire Aether story including Black Ops 4...in his troon falsetto voice. It was fucking impossible to sit through. The "baby" video the comment refers to is likely the weird-ass "My Trans Experience" story or whatever it was called that he uploaded., where he gave a gay as fuck biography about himself and when he "realized he was trans" or whatever using old footage of himself as a kid.

Then shortly after that video came out, he just purged all of his social media and deleted everything.

Call it a hunch, but I believe Halo Infinite will beat out Vanguard followed by Battlefield 2042.

At least, as its own product. I know Warzone is getting numbers everyday, but that's its own entity.

I still see Mountain Dew adverts for games.

Voice chat was common back in MW2. Almost every lobby would have somebody talking, especially Search and Destroy.
