Call of Duty Thread - Potential return to form? Or nothing but cope on the horizon? You decide!

Oh fuck that. I loved playing CW Outbreak solo but I don't like the idea of being forced to play with others since I know that most of them don't care about grinding to unlock stuff so they rush to the next part and get killed.
zombie army 4 is on sale right now for 10 bucks. can't do anything wrong for that price. you can grab the season passes + ragnarök during the halloween sale if you like it
works fine solo, that's how I played through the campaign to find all the secrets etc. myself

I had it on the xbox one. If it's on sale I might get it on pc.
you might be able to still find some keys for the season passes on keysites. think the highest I paid was 13 bucks for the second or third one, not even steam is that cheap. ragnarök is steam only afaik.

EA: Our decisions are fucking retarded!

ActiBlizz: here hold my beer

I dunno guys. I like Hellsing more than the next guy, but it doesn't belong in a military setting. It makes sense from a business perspective given that CoD fans are idiots, but I still hate it.

This is a very Monkey's Paw situation to find oneself in. We were chastising BF2042 for trying to be like Fortnite, but CoD is now wholesale mimicking Fortnite - when it initially appeared to be trying to stay grounded in reality - and this cancer is assured to spread into the next one.

I'm sure EA will absolutely take the wrong message from this and will double down on the non-binary specialists in BF6, but is it too much to ask for a setting where reasonably kitted soldiers fight in protracted engagements with realistic weapons without anime characters, rappers and celebrity cameos running around? Apparently yes.

Big news today.

Completely honest opinion: I'm absolutely nonplussed about this. I have no feelings one way or another, this trailer did absolutely nothing.
I'm gonna get dragged into it regardless.
I'll say I'm more excited than not.

As retarded as the story of MW2 is, I enjoyed it.
At the very least, MP will be entertaining.
If zombies is just DMZOMBIES I'm here for it. I fucking love DMZ.
If Ash Williams happens, I'll have my go to operator for MW3

In other news, Warzone Caldera is shutdown but...

  • All the CW and VG shit is still in the MW2019 files
  • The multiplayer lobby screen is still Caldera shit
  • Instead of bringing back the MW2019 main menu music, it's still the Caldera music.
  • Some ground war maps are still missing.
  • With MP only it's still over 100GB while MW2 2022 is only 80GB even with MP, Co-op, and WZ2/DMZ installed.

I gotta be honest. Ive never played warzone before and this is making me want to go try it.

If they have the voices for alucard and skeletor ill likely buy it.

Im sorry to double post but I have a burning question.

If you buy an operator like say alucard or whatever. Can you use that operator for any other multiplayer mode in the base games of 2 and 3 ? (provided you buy it)

yes and it will be usable in zombies. the only place the skins/operators can't be used is in the campaign
