Call of Duty Thread - Potential return to form? Or nothing but cope on the horizon? You decide!

It's a shame DMZ got abandoned. With a bit of tweaking they could have had something special there. It's unironically the most fun i have had in a COD game sine the OG MW trilogy.
I don't know how to play. I want to try it to see if I could get some DLC blueprints. But somebody said it's broken.

MWII could've been a great tactical (lite) shooter but it's stuck in the CoD formula. And the SBMM ruins the experience.

also the stark visual difference in MW 2019 and MWII 2022 is insane. idk how they downgraded so hard in that small time frame.
MW2019 uses prerendered light maps, while MW2022 generates everything in real time. This necessarily requires much simpler lighting.

Confirmed for PS4/Xbox One as well.

Yeah, this would be a skip for me if it wasn't for Game Pass. I am already disappointed with Black Ops 6's mediocrity. Black Ops 3 and future CoD settings never vibed with me, so I suspect BO7 would be more of the same.

I thought CoDs would be revealed over August/September.

Call of Duty 4 has more color contrast than I remember, almost like HDR is enabled. It's harder than I thought to score headshots.

DAVID MASON KINO HAS BEEN CANCELLED. NOW WE HAVE TO SEE THIS MOUTH BREATHER CONTRIBUTE TO RUINATION OF THE LEGACY OF BLACK OPS 2.

Raul Menendez OG actor is dead and the last thing he played in was Daredevil: Shit on Fans Again. So, who are they gonna get to sully his legacy even more?

TOTAL ACTIVISION DAMNATION
>I stopped playing COD after BLOPS 3
>I stopped caring about COD news after BLOPS 4
>I stopped sharing my memories about the old times after Warzone
>I stopped seething after they ruined the Mason/Woods dynamic and gameplay after BLOPS COLD WAR
>I am now angry after seeing the trailer and leaks

I saw a comment calling this a stealth BO3 prequel, and I kind of see it. Very odd to have two black ops games back to back, wondering if it'll be an MW3 situation

The last campaign I liked from CoD was Black Ops: Cold War.
Two Black Ops in a row? MW3 must of really left them in a fucked up place, I guess.
I'm guessing that Activision will be playing it safe by just having Modern Warfare and Black Ops as their subseries.

Pretty much confirming a TranZit remake at the end there. God help me, I might actually end up buying it if that's the case.
After what they pulled with BO6, I can't be bothered. It's abundantly clear they're treating their own paying customers like guinea pigs and they're not even hiding it, they can kiss my ass. I got enough Zombies maps to last me a lifetime.
Two BO games in a row means that the well has truly run completely dry, also that BO6 is a holdover game just like Vanguard lmfao.
What the fuck is even going on with this franchise?
Same thing people claimed when BO4 released. Except that with BO4, they tried and still cared, BO4 is a game screwed over massively and ended up being forced to release in the state it did. Modern COD is slop by design.
Is their Modern Warfare reboot really that dead?
Did you miss how mercilessly that game was mocked from nearly the first day of release?

Wasn't BO4 already a prequel? Now another?
I have zero clue what BO4 even is honestly, not having a campaign essentially outside of zombies makes it hard for me to put into context with everything else, and even that barely gives you anything to go on
