Aren't they also trying to out totalitarian the UK and Canada in their own ways too? New Zealand is going that same route too.
You are correct about that. If I remember correctly, they would send heavily armed police to confront families who dared to go to the beach during covid lockdowns, like they were some immense threat.

Also, Australia has big ass spiders so that is bad enough.

Podlife will be a standard 4bed home illegally subdivided in to 20 sleeping areas with curtains and plywood. Jeets already live this reality.
Now that you mention - this is why they are the ideal bugmen (along with the chinks). Even if they don't necessarily know, there's billions of them (alongside the Chinese), and they can conquer the world through sheer "retard strength" - that unlike China - can be used through immigration. Now, China obviously is doing this the smart way, but India shouldn't be underestimated.

I don't think any English speaking western country truly has it good any more. UK, Canada and US suck balls, each with a distinct flavor of shittiness. I don't know enough about Australia to really say about them.
Meanwhile New Zealand literally feels like Shire.
Canada can be a world leader says Mark Carney.

We don't even make robots, how are we a world leader? We are not technologically advanced. The Canadian economic model is entirely reliant on mass immigration for cheap labour.

Canadians are airheads.
We can if we drill baby drill, just that will never happen.

Not when 200 Portuguese guys managed to take over multiple Jeet cities.

You know Lord Myles project of recruiting men to invade Haiti, it would be more successful recruiting White Canadian men and invading Brampton.

Jeets are the weakest race (besides maybe Abos, who are just more retarded Dravidians)

Building fuckloads of cheap as shit tiny ass apartments to create an easily obtainable floor for housing would put a huge dent in homelessness, let young people thrive by not being shackled with 2000+ rents, and cause real estate prices to at least follow inflation rather than outpace it, or even better, cause it to drop. But the neoliberal oligarchy won't, because fuck you give us money rentpiggy. The conservative won't, because xwitter told them it's "pod living". And the leftist won't, because it's on unsceded chug land and is not BIPOCLGBTQ+ inclusive enough.

It would work, and it would benefit and lift up society. Go to Japan, you can rent dirt cheap dorm-style homes for nothing. It's just a small private room with some amenities as shared spaces. I stayed in one for one leg of my journey; it's not luxury living, but it's living. I think I saw maybe 2 homeless people during my visit to Tokyo, and my understanding is that buying a home is well within the average working Japs means. A lot of the wests problems are easily solved with our excess of wealth and resources but those in power don't give a fuck about uplifting the general populace. I fucking hate it here. I hate seeing my friends and loved ones suffer at the hand of a government that's indifferent at best, and malicious at worst.
I have to disagree, because who is between those cheap houses and apartments* and the buyers? The realtor racket, the same people that are sitting on 900sq.ft. literal trailer-park looking homes in Sudbury, Ontario because they won't accept less than 499k for one (absolutely true story btw). Houses aren't perishables and the pirates at ReMax and LePage are not going to dump housing on the market, because they overpaid for it and will be left holding the bag if prices drop. Imagine a crypto rugpull, but the people left holding the bag have big financial powers and can just insist that the value hasn't dropped.

*small apartments will absolutely turn into slums unless we have a drastic policy reversal, which would probably involve fixing housing prices anyways. We don't need our own jeet-infested Pruitt-Igoe, thank you very much.

Australians literally had holding camps for the unvaccinated. Also Politically they have labor and the liberals. Keep in mind the liberals of Australia are the more right leaning party but in practice they're similar to Canadas liberals.

They were in charge for a decade and destroy Australia, then labor were elected and are somehow worse. In Canadian terms it's as if the LPC were in charge for a decade and then the NDP got elected.

In Australia aren’t the (former) coalition which was called the Liberal-Nationals their Conservatives?

It’s like our Conservative party here calling themselves the Progressive-Conservatives

We have such a housing shortage that this would only serve to raise the pricing of all other houses. People pay the current pricing of housing because they have no choice. We won't be building pods in a number big enough to give use a housing surplus, so the pod developers can charge almost the same prices as the current smallest apartments, and the smallest apartments will then go up in price due to speculation. We're in an economy where real estate is speculative pricing, so if you create a smaller category of housing it will just take on the price of the existing smallest housing category, and everything else gets bumped up to the next tier of pricing. That has happened every time a new type of housing development comes out that promises smaller and cheaper housing.

The only way to get out of that cycle is if we can produce pods in a quantity the equivalent of 5% of all current housing within a few years, which is not going to happen.

Canada is the 2nd largest country on Earth, with one of the largest lumber, forestry, and brick industries on Earth, and here we are building shipping container housss.

It's what happens when you cram millions of Third World migrants in a span of less than 25 years and they all want to live close to the US border. All for GDP growth.

In the hands of Whites, they made it a paradise. Europe-in-the-Americas, even safe for the snow injuns, despite their higher criminal offence.

In the world of Chinks & Jeets... I don't even want to know the hazard it would become.

they HAVE to live close to the border because there are no jobs in the hinterlands anymore. More importantly, this affects actual Canadians as well.

There are lots of work up north, but it's mostly fly in fly out. Because literally no one wants to live in a desolate icy wasteland with only a bar and a walmart for entertainment.

Give me Starlinks and I will live there forever.
LoL, would be funny if the Canadian North was like a Lapland. But alas, it's more akin to Siberia (in terms of waste and potential crime) and less like what the idea of what Lapland used to be (comfort, tradition, etc).

Disagree on this working because it ignores the demand side of the equation. Japan is cheap in part because Japan doesn't see infinity+ Jeets entering annually under the auspices of TFW, foreign student programs, family reunification, and whatever latest "skilled immigrant" racket Ottawa has cooked up - Japan's population is stagnant at best while ours is still growing. We could build all the cheap housing in the world and prices wouldn't budge because we're still suffering with mass immigration inflating housing demand.

Any fix for proper afforable housing starts with an immigration moratorium, drastic curtailment of foreign students, and elimination of the TFW program. If the boomers, developers, and landlords must suffer so be it, you're not fixing Canada's economy without going cold turkey on cheap Jeet labour and powering through with the withdrawal.
