Just look at the socialist argument in favour of abortion for example, and it doesn’t take long for them to bring up disabilities/the possibility of mental illness. If they were honest about being eugenicists, that’d be one thing.

Ultimately for socialism to work, you’d have to have at least 70% of your population working, while receiving minimal benefits. Canada was sort of like that for a while, but that was prior to importing a bunch of welfare shoppers in the late 2000s.

Most Pajeets I know fucking hate Canada, and want to leave. Many of them were sold on being rich here, only to come over and be a cab/doordash driver for upper class slobs. Many of them are thousands of dollars in debt to immigration consultants, who basically stole from them. Many are victims of the "Feed the Beast" immigration as economic stimulus plan as most Canadians are. We thought importing millionaires would make them open businesses in Canada, only to have them jump to the US at the first opportunity.

We've sent away all the middle class and aspirational class jobs to China and Mexico and got called racist for complaining about it. And now we're finding that without those jobs, we can't collect the taxes, to pay for the social services that were promised. So we add more and more consumption taxes. Make no mistake, they know the Carbon Tax does not decrease carbon emissions, it's just the easiest way to sell a new tax to stupid members of the laptop class.

Ehlers Danlos is a fav diagnosis for the munchie crowd. I am willing to bet money that this very healthy, rosy-cheeked appearing young woman had 99% mental problems and maybe 1% RSI pain due to her being a musician (there are photos online of her playing the cello which is probably one of the most ergonomically hostile activities outside of contortionist stunts.)

and in addition to being a music therapist she specialized in working with dying and grieving people. For a highly suggestible person like women with somatoform disorders tend to be, there's a risk of "taking work home" in a radical way. I think this BPD type nutty broad actually picked up "dying good, want to die" from working in hospice. BPD broads have done stranger things.

The number of intact tattoos and piericings she had really suggests against a classical/severe/actual EDS diagnosis of the type that might actually cause physical disability. Their skin does not take to being messed with that way.

Her CV here. Says she played flute and oboe too- again, RSI is a big occupational risk factor for those, and it does cause pain, and if you have the nimbleness to play those instruments well you likely could fake/psych yourself into an EDS diagnosis easily.

As you can see on the Facebook and in the article, this was a well-appearing, normal weight woman with apparent ability to get around, do things, and work, and even play instruments that require significant dexterity. She had friends and pets. She was not living in a nursing home or crippled with such pain that she couldn't do the daily activities of life. It appears the reasoning for putting her down like a shelter dog was "pain."

As the Sacklers figured out, "pain" is subjective. Pain is manipulatable through various means, from subtle psychological suggestion to counterproductive medical interventions. And once you make "pain" a "vital sign" as important as heart rate or respiration, you can get away with literal goddamned murder.

I did some more poking around about her today. Supposedly her incurable, unbearable illness was not only EDS but something that sounds extra scary- "craniocervical instability." Wow a neck and skull defect- so serious, much deadly, right?

The last bit- dysautonomia- is the usual "POTS and gastroparesis" shit you see in the munchie thread up in Beauty Parlor. A lot of it is brought on by anxiety and/or simple deconditioning.

The woman in the ad appears to have normal function of her cranial nerves, she has strong, well-developed muscles in her upper arms that she shows off at one point. Absolutely no way in hell was she actually suffering a severe physical illness of the sort she wished she had.

I always tell people that the government isn't your friend, it's not your Dad either. The government can only think about you in the most dehumanizing way. You are little more than a line number that they farm taxes off of. Canada is this taken to an extreme, they tax you for everything, to pay for healthcare that they don't want you to ever use. Most likely. PET was Prime Minister from 1968 to 1984 aside from a brief interruption in 1979 with the Joe Clark government and I am not 100% certain his predecessor (Pearson) was responsible. Almost everything that is wrong with this country can be traced to him because he went to great lengths to reshape it in his image.

PET did a lot, but the rot started with Pearson in 1963. Kennedy wanted to put nukes in Canada, and Diefenbaker wouldn't allow it. So in early '63 when the election was called Kennedy sent his election team to run Pearson's election for him. This also coincided with the Canadian dollar suddenly and conveniently crumbling in value, giving Pearson something to run on. It was Pearson who changed the flag to it's current leaf form, and it was him and noted eugenics enjoyer Tommy Douglas who created our current healthcare system.

Pearson is always forgotten among Prime Ministers, mainly because he was an American puppet, and kind of embarrassing all around. The one time he stepped out of line, by going to the UN to complain about the escalating war in Vietnam, LBJ had his ass hauled down to Camp David where he shook him by the lapel while screaming "How dare you come into my house and shit on my rug!" As I mentioned in the other thread, take with this information the fact that was brought up in previous coverage that she had become dependent on opiates. So her "starting a conversation" around a "lack of access" to "care" had a lot to do with drug-seeking.

Having someone else kill you to make a point about how mean people are to not give you morphine for your fibro-my-feelings is peak Cluster B.
