People always say the current election is the most important in history every fucking time there's a election. There has to have been some elections in human history that weren't important in the slightest. I'm not calling out any one person in particular it just annoys me greatly.

I do like watching him get mad though. He wants to snap, but he can't turn it into a witty remark, so he just seethes.

He's never faced the public in his professional life. Most of the times he's been in parliament as central banker has been performative, just like his talks in front of the media. In office he is going to be our version of Keir Starmer. No dissent, heavy handed punishments against anyone going against him publicly. I'm just waiting for it all to come out that he's a psycho behind the scenes.

Once you leave Canada and then come back. It becomes very noticeable the asshole streak most Canadians have. Canadians are shockingly rude, but in an icy passive aggressive way. Like when you work in an office and no one likes each other, but they tolerate each other just enough to not have it explode.

Same thing happened in France with Macron, lifetime banker turned to politics. The thing is that they're chameleons, they will say (not do) anything to get in the good graces of the current majority and change their tune again tomorrow for the next majority group to appeal to.

So he's basically doing the Kamala Harris speaking routine, only this time he doesn't shut up according to his handlers' orders (?) and says random nonsense and throws fits instead of word salads? Now I'm just waiting for him to propose an Unrealized Capital Gains tax like how Kamala tried to do and she got shit on hard for that. And yet, Canadians will probably be stupid enough to still vote for him even if he actually does implement the said Unrealized Capital Gains taxes.

I wonder when someone’s going to dig into Carney as an unindicted co conspirator in the US for the GFANZ . How is this ass clown going to negotiate with Americans when they already hate him?

He was born to a 16-year-old mother anf adopted by a couple of Quebecquois (two strikes right there) the husband of whom later separated from the wife and came out. This was later on in his life tho.
 

So the latest polls broken down by demographic shows that everyone poor, low income, and middle class who are under 65 years old overwhelmingly hate the Liberals (25% support), with their biggest supporters (50%) being retirees over 65 years old or the upper class who are too rich to be affected by the damage to the economy and pretty much everything the Liberals caused.

I feel like that's more relevant then telephone polls that mostly only seniors answer.

The entitlement just oozes off him. I’m starting to root for him, if he wins Alberta is so gone. I can’t bring myself to do it, but I’m not even mad.

What is happening in Canada is basically national prostitution, absolutely no shame in having itself be compromised by Third Worlders.

I'm telling you Canada's attitude with mass immigration and housing would be a legitimate reason for civil unrest anywhere else on Earth, but Canada is just retarded.

We like to talk about places like France having a Moslem problem, but if France had Canada's immigration policies, the French would revolt, and it won't just be a rightist one, the French left would set cities on fire since an endless supply of cheap Indian labour would threaten French labour entitlements, like 4 week vacations, protection from getting fired, and social security that is worth the same as your annual salary.

To put it simply, Canada's immigration situation is arguably worse than Europe by the fact that it's a cheap labour pipeline that effectively takes away bargaining rights of employees. That, and the fact that they're all Third Worlders.

I've been saying this for years. Canadians are polite on the surface but snarky and gossipy behind people's backs. From my other experiences, Californians are straight up rude (worse than Canadians by a long shot) but Texans are straight up nice (apologize for things, greet strangers, go out of their way to help people). The 'Canadians are nice' thing is a stereotype (though other countries are far worse, obviously).

I think it’s a leftover idea from a time when Canada was a high trust society.
