Oh also... Saiki K is a predominantly comedy slice of life anime that is decently popular with normie zoomer men, because it has a focus on a male cast and a target audience of young males.
It has nothing to do with attention span and everything with the actual content of the shows getting produced, there just arent that many good SOL anime out there for guys. Like big fucking shocker that male watchers mostly gravitate to the shows actually aimed at males?

One is VERY OBVIOUSLY less weird for guys to watch than the other. Its like a non-weeb guy choosing to watch girly disney channel sitcoms instead of the big bang theory or whatever.

(Besides, if theyre just completely normal people dicking around in a classroom all day, what would even be the point of them being animated if youre not gonna do anything that warrants animation? Even most female anime fans usually still wanna see something fantasy/action/historical in their shows. The most popular anime for zoomer women rn afaik are SpyxFamily (historical spy show with SOL elements), Frieren and Dungeon Meshi (fantasy shows with SOL elements) and the Apothecary Diaries (historical drama with SOL elements). If they wanna see regular modern day realistic SOL they usually just put on a Kdrama or Gilmore Girls.)

Listen, I get it that Zach made it to the big leagues but its really easy to forget that Zach was one of the VERY few popular NG creators to not go total retard and actually act mature and logical. The reason why people liked Zach was not only his voice and humor but how he didn't turn into a total sperg over things like his peers. He felt like someone you could have a conversation with and was humble about himself even back then.

Most of the top NG creators are either:
  1. turbo autists
  2. severely mentally ill
  3. perverts who just wanna goon all day
  4. egomaniacs
  5. cannot work with others well, let alone a fucking company with bosses and expectations
Guess what I'm saying is: No. Zach was there at the right time at the right place. NG now is just a mash of just porn, furries, zoomers, Friday Night Funkin Fags, etc.

It's autistic men who never grew out of their maidenless teenage years. They have no idea how girls act like and thus any aspect of their lives is in the realm of fantasy. As in, their voyeuristic fantasy. Azumanga is the "best" out of the endless pile of such shows because it does actually have some absurd gags, as in, actual comedy, not just "cute retarded underage girls doing borderline lezzie shit and making stupid noises because they are really, really wholesome". The japanese humor itself is very hit and miss, imo.

Again I would like to recommend this video where the moefag phenomenon is explained straight from the horse's (heh) mouth.

Even if a guy isn't into traditional male slice of life anime, like if he's that soft homeschooled kid who only has female friends as an adult, he can watch Haruhi or the other Haruhi or even Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei without being weird.
I still think it's lame that Azuma, a grown man, is making cozy after school content for teen girls, but it's not weird for teen girls or grown women to read/watch it. Any man looking at that stuff is just jackin' it to pedo waifus though.

Yeah, remember watching the old sleepy cabin podcast. These people where truly mentally unhinged. Chris, Zach, Julian, Ding Dong, Tomar and maybe Corey where the only ones who managed to grow as people. The rest went hard with their autism.
