Containment Casting Call - CWC the Movie

  • 🔧 Actively working on site again.
The Story Of Luke is as close to a Chris movie we'll get right now:

Sheltered his whole life, a young man with autism is about to embark on a quest for a job and a girlfriend, and he won'e be taking 'no' for an answer. Starring Seth Green and Lou Taylor Pucci.

I wonder if Chris could be conviced that The Story of Luke is about him

The way I envision the CWC Movie in kind of the way the Darkon documentary was filmed. There's always the undercurrent that it's a bunch of nerds being nerdy, but they did justice to the spirit of the games and how the people playing probably envisioned it.

We would all know what the CWC Movie is really about :briefs: , but it would give a big nod to the way Chris probably sees himself and the people in his life. At least, in my little world it would.

Now that I think about it, I concede that it would have to be a great character actor like Phillip Seymour Hoffman to play his personality. However, if Chris were to cast himself, it would probably be someone like Daniel Craig...but a sad and lonesome Daniel Craig who girls ignore and occasionally shits himself.

if it is about the weird characters, it has to be directed by john waters.

if it specifically dwells on :briefs: it's either a farrelly brothers movie or a friedberg and seltzer movie

My first pick for Chris would also be Phillip Seymour Hoffman, but since he's been mentioned so many times already, I propose Christian Clemenson. Look him up if you don't know him, he played an autistic guy on Boston Legal plus he fits the looks. Other than that I don't have any further ideas other than maybe casting John Doman (Rawls from The Wire) as Bob and put some make up on him in order to make him look older.

I wonder what a Chris movie would be like. Would it be a retrospective movie where you have multiple people playing Chris at different points in his life? Or would it be focused on a shorter period of time during the different trolling sagas? I would personally be more interested in the retrospective idea. Especially if it were done from Chris's point of view.

Here's a repeat of my cast, with expanded roles and a director for a Chris-based miniseries.

Director: John Waters

Here's my cast for a Chris-based miniseries

The Core Cast

Chris: Patton Oswalt
Bob: Tony Musante (Although Lance Henriksen could work too)
Barb: John Travolta in the fatsuit from "Hairspray"
Cole: David Cross
Megan: Ellen Page
Anna: Felicia Day
Snyder: Jeff Goldblum
Mary Lee Walsh: Rita Moreno
Clyde Cash: Goodfella Mike G
Vivian Gee: Christine Nguyen
Rob Bell: Lee Tergensen
Rocky: Betty White

The A-Loggers (since this is a miniseries, I would include side-stories and subplots about the A-Logger lolcows directly tied to Chris)

Anthony "A-Log" Logatto: Eddie Malavarca in a fatsuit
Ahuviya Harel: Charles Busch (He played a great tranny on OZ)
Pagan Death Knight: Dean Winters (just give him some fake eyebrows and a black leather jacket, and you're set!)
Robert Wayne "Rika" Stiles: Ted Levine
ISLAVERDE29: Jon Seda
MsUmlaut: Miranda Cosgrove (just dye her hair blonde and give her some Gothic clothing)

The film would be separated into three "chapters". The first being his PVCC years, the second being the 2007-2010 "Saga of Chris", and the third being a bleak, unsettling look at modern, Tomgirl Chris.

I think Robin Williams should play Chris because they sometimes resemble each other at least too me, like how Chris looks in this old video.

Why Steve Buscemi twice, or are you running over budget already? ;)

Edit: Damn my failure to quote. This was a response to Alec.
