CenturyLink/Qwest/Layer3 blocks Kiwi Farms

you see the same thing with how they cite a statute against the posting of the personal information of listed persons; where listed person is explicitly defined to be things like jury members, judges, and federal agents.
Unless they admit to being in bed with the glowies, that is. (No, not literally, this a horrifying mental image I really could have done without. :cryblood:)

Out of curiosity, why not use an IaaS provider? Will Amazon or GCP or Azure shut you down? Or a smaller one based in Europe with their obsession on privacy and free speech that their workers councils blather on and on about.

That is a way to make you just a drop of water in a gigantic bucket. You’ve probably already addressed this somewhere but I’ve wondered it for a while.

E: I just realized this post needs a lot of trash can stickers. It isn’t the IaaS provider, it’s the payment processors. If I could rate my own post dumb I would.
LOL best way to speedrun the death of this site, definitely.

In large parts of the US, your only options are going to either be a shitty DSL service like Centurylink or an even shittier satellite internet setup.
I access the internet using a mobile phone I tether to my PC to share data. They don't know that I'm doing that, it makes all traffic look like it's coming from a phone.

It is sickening how far people that will never be women are willing to go, how pathetically obsessed they are! But worst of all are the ISPs and companies that give into them.

The fact that this is all happening one after another at the same time and with no major event starting it... Are we sure one of the big ones didn't go full retard and started threatening to blacklist anyone not willing to block or something? Either way, this is a direct attack on the very core concept of a free internet and free speech as a whole!

This whole thing, the timing, feels like an attempt to go under the radar and hope intransigence of time and bureaucracy win out. (i.e. by the time people notice, it'll be "settled" one way or another.

Also we can't rule out the possibility of a coordinated low-holiday-staff rouge action by ideologues within. I mean attention and review are notoriously lacking around this time of year.. ESPECIALLY when it involves technical systems (networks, infrastructure etc) which can't be abandoned throughout the holidays.. With non-tech managers OC MIA.

And guess what? The fucking post office will still deliver the message. This law won't be effective until after the fact.

Unless you're going to argue that they're opening it and fucking reading it before sending it on your "showing him" is wrong too. Be less retarded, please.

So much this. They will come after you after the fact.. (and not the PO) but what they won't do is proactively cut you off from using mail services completely without review!

CenturyLink has 30 days to answer to the FCC for their illicit jamming of my network access to the services hosted by 1776 Hosting, LLC.

Refresh my memory on 230. I know it's not relevant. But 230 means a website is a Platform, not a Publisher, as so long as they do not make editorial decisions about user generated content, correct? And as long as they remain a Platform (i.e., Neutral), then they are not held to the standards of a Publisher (i.e., responsible for the content).

So you could make the argument -- you'd be wrong, but you could do it -- that by deciding which websites are acceptable to go over Lumen pipe, Lumen is endorsing those websites as a Publisher. They only remain a Platform by remaining neutral -- i.e., not making editorial (AUP) decisions about the content of the websites traveling through their network without a court order mandating such action.

Ah yes, the classic "Platform wanting to have their Publisher cake and eat it too"

Its fucking everywhere these days

Forgive me if it's already been posted, but I found 'Robert Matthews' (the guy who claimed that KF violates the TOS) LinkedIn

Who knew "I want to speak to the manager" actually worked sometimes? Karens knew. Let them show us the way.

It almost ALWAYS worked!

To reiterate what I said a few days ago on this very subject:

We have to be very careful of distinguishing between true doom and ideological/classic shilling. The favorite tactic in debates about censorship (content in fictional media esp) is to come in claiming to be an "ally" against censorship who always seems to feel *strongly* about how this specific case is overblown/inconsequential/not censorship and protests greatly against any further discussion. (often resorting to mockery, name calling or even mods to try and silence debate)

We see the same thing with any attempts, EVER, to start up a non-correct-cause campaign, message drive or even a simple petition. Out of the woodwork come "like minded allies" to ridicule and warn against the futile efforts to push back in any organized way. Meanwhile the left and prog radicals have been getting away with it successfully for decades. (as we've seen, all it takes is the smallest hint of controversy or bad press to get companies to fold) What's most frustrating is that media and fiction censorship would be the easiest things to target for fans since there isn't allowed an "overt" war against fanservice. They can't scream and shout "nazi" or anything.. Just passive aggressively continue to try to mock fans for caring. (about their own efforts to change things OC)

This is why we have the perseption of never working. The FUD campaign has been so effective at subversion that most people who care have actually internalized it and defend it themselves! The idea that it's useless to push back or complain.. and when that doesn't stop people it becomes "stupid" or laughable. It's all subversion and wankery. get your enemies to enforce their own silence and indifference to doing something.

It works.. Even for the most un-PC causes.. remember the Intel advert thing back during GG. As soon as it succeed we suddenly saw massive efforts within the movement, to discredit and back away from it... like it was some sort of crime or dark mark. The other side, everyone else truthfully speaking, is terrified to do what neo-busybodies and progs/leftists do daily!

yes it's different ofc and I was showing him how the "postal service allows any mail" argument is wrong
But you're wrong, homosexual. The postal service ABSOLUTELY will allow a threatening letter to be shipped over it. It's not their job to police content that is contained in letters. In fact, I don't even believe the post office will intentionally block mail from a given sender to you, even if you ask.

The POLICE might have some words to say if you get a letter in the mail with a threat. But the post office will literally not give a shit.

Most likely, he has the NetShield option enabled for ProtonVPN.

I cannot access Kiwifarms using my ISP. I can access it using ProtonVPN with NetShield option turned off. I cannot access Kiwifarms using ProtonVPN with the NetShield option turned on.
Not even bothering to read all the posts between here. But yeah turning off netshield Was the solution to my proton VPN connection issues. Still annoyed kiwifarms is listed with malware or trackers though cause I’d like that protection. Tomorrow I’ll complain and ask why kiwifarms is being blocked as malware, ads or tracking.

Null cited this site for good VPN’s to use. I’ve had excellent luck with Proton VPN.
