CenturyLink and its affiliates, Tier 1 Internet Service Providers, are blocking the website kiwifarms.net from being accessed, citing "AUP violations" that are not specified.

While Kiwi Farms has courted controversy before, its content and operations are legal under US law. Private companies, especially those of Internet infrastructure, are not the Thought Police, and therefore must not take it upon themselves to declare what is and is not acceptable. The idea is antithetical to the First Amendment and the idea of a free and open Internet.

Please take action to remedy this. Thank you.

There seems to be a lot of people who are stumped on where to start with filing a complaint. I hope this can help.

Try to keep things simple, civil, and to the point.

1. Describe the Issue without emotion and in your own words: I cannot access a legal website through a service that I pay for due to the site being arbitrarily censored. I received no notice from my ISP that they would be censoring my ability to access fully legal public sites on a service that I pay for.
2. Describe the solution: I would like my access to the site restored.
3. Explain next steps and set a timeline: If my access is not restored by _________ I will _____ <---transfer service, file FCC complaint, et cetera.

If the timeline is exceeded then follow through with the next steps that you say you will take, remind the service provider, and then continue forward. So for example if you state you will file a complaint with the FCC if your access to the site is not restored within 72 hours, file the complaint and provide that complaint number to your service provider. If you state that after this you will change providers, make sure you do so, remind them of why.
