I have clearnet access again. Before, I had the same problems as everyone else: Got a 503, got an ERR_TIMED_OUT, then an ERR_CONNECTION_RESET, then the site would load slowly but as a flat static page without the stylesheet or something. I can't do anything with my ISP, the traceroute and ping data packages go to KF as expected. There was only a 25% package loss when I pinged.

Virgin Update (how appropriate for this place): I got a stock response from a pajeet, who thinks that it's kiwi farms blocking me. I guess I'll have to try and escalate somehow, but at this point it seems mostly moot as they're not peered with anyone blocking the site.

Dropped a complaint about Three to ofcom, using their magic complaints form. They can't reply, but the weight of complaints can affect how quickly they look into things. I also poked at them on the stupid bird app.

I have a relative who is the president of a state’s branch of a major American ISP and if they’re connected to this, I may be able to convince them to get a complaint in through that channel. No idea if that can even help, but it would certainly be more weight than I have on my own

Strangely, traffic from Australian ISP's to KF is routed through GTT, and for the entire period since the first TRW post it has been largely unaffected on my end. Even after trying it with Aus-based VPN's.

I remember, decades ago when I was an adolescent just learning about this stuff, listening to a shitty audio recording I had downloaded of a 2600 presentation that was titled something to the effect of "CAN ICANN PLAY?". It was a presentation by Andy Muller Maguhn, the CCC guy, where he spoke about going to ICANN as the odd-man-out, and openly hearing them talk about wanting to delete top level domains to prevent access to entire countries during a "crisis". This was right after 9/11 and he was quite alarmed at the fact that they were so casually considering wiping whole countries off the net in this manner. I can't even find this lecture anymore in 2600's archive.

They should be screaming at CenturyCuck right now because Xfinity is their largest competition in this area. Right now, my apartment complex only uses my ISP but I know for a fact that Comcast would love an excuse to wire up my building and start mailing my neighbors offers that undercut the competition.
