The bodies thing has actually been a staple in academic-wannabe leftist circles for years. I think it originally stems from Michel Foucault's philosophy in the 70s (a summary of his shit) though the usage has been parroted so much by racebaiters like Ta Nehisi Coates and the like that I doubt most of them even know where it comes from.

Orwell was ahead of his time. I recently finished "Down and out in Paris and London," and now I'm looking for more of his obscure writings and less well read books.
It's interesting to see his political evolution over time, and how he became disillusioned with what he felt socialism should be, and what the popular idea of it was in his day.



I think the real change happened first with the failure of the Russian revolution, the experiences he had in Spain, and then it came to a head when his publisher tried to limit or edit "The Road To Wigan Pier" to make it more palatable to socialist readers without addressing the fact that Orwell expressly stated what he viewed as a failure of socialist policies to help the impoverished working classes.

As for the tea thing, I can understand why. He had enough occasions to sample poor teas during his years of wandering from work to work.

For fiction, I recommend Coming Up For Air. Some guy going through a mid-life crisis in the inter-war period looking over what the World and England were descending into. I first read it as a teen, and it was immediately my favourite Orwell book. The bitterness and disillusionment of the character would fit in today very well with people who believe in freedom, democracy, pride in oneself, that sort of thing, evaporating from the shared discourse.

Ehh i'm not buying that was a cop saying that stuff, nor that all of that happened. No way in hell people are getting stopped at gunpoint to for any reason in the manner being implied. If that was actually happening there would be an incident before very long. That aside the city is legally obligated to intervene at that point, as allowing self described separatists to point guns at people and make any kind of demands of them without putting a stop to it is a violation of the civil rights of the victim. So the city would be getting their ass handed to them by getting buried in lawsuits over it for refusing to intervene. and god fucking help the mayor and police chief if somebody were to get injured or killed during such an incident. Not only would the city be getting a legal butt fucking, those two would be looking at some considerable jail time for allowing it to get to that point

A) Leftist governments pick and choose the laws they follow. Seattle govermnet handed over the keys to the city hall to these people. They handed over the police building. They support them.
B) The police are under no legal obligation to protect you.
C) No cop is going to ruin his life and get in a shootout with these people when he has no support from anyone in the city government or media.

If your a cop in any of these liberal utopias you only have 2 options now. Take a bullet for social justice or get fucked by the system if you do your job.

Trannies are just about the worst revolutionaries ever. They want to abolish the state and capitalism, but depend on big pharma and/or the government to create their phony identities. None of them would be able to effectively seize the means of production to keep making hormones, doing surgeries, etc. because they'd lack the skills to.

If these people are part of your movement, that's a sign it's not as revolutionary as you think it is.

This video was taken Monday, June 8, the night Seattle left the East Police Precinct to protesters. Our crew was targeted, stalked, harassed, and assaulted. The level of vitriol from one member of the mob, who claimed she was a "social worker," was like nothing I've ever experienced. When elected leaders call this type of behavior "peaceful," not only is it a lie, but it's deeply offensive to those who have been subjected to it. I hope this video is spread widely. Seattle needs to do better.
