CHAZ/CHOP: Autonomous No Cop Zone and Commune Declared In Seattle - Render unto Warlord Raz what is owed to Warlord Raz

Why is this shit even getting attention. I thought this was like Ukraine 2014. They're just being a nuisance, anyone can walk in and out. Some kind of bullshit. Even a garbage truck is collect trash. No wonder Kurt Cobain offed himself. And by the way, you can clearly see that Seattle residents are fucked in the head from the way they walk.

Except cops. And also the businesses are being extorted for cash unless they give out free shit.

They invited a bunch of homeless people in and they stole all the food. Now their "leader" is asking for vegan donations

Do people own homes or apartments in the area that was taken over? If so, what are they supposed to do? Just supposed to stay inside hoping it will go away or risk having your home broken into?
I have to imagine it's the same sort of hostage situation that the businesses are going through right now.
I'm just waiting for this shit to turn out like the Spanish Civil War where the regular civilians of AnCom controlled areas got kicked out into the jaws of Franco due to how banal and incompetent they were in their rule.

Between that and how the AnComs of Weimar Germany ended up pushing the population towards accepting the Nazis, you'd think these people would learn that emulating some of the biggest loser factions of history is a horrible goddamn idea

Yeah they're going to grow food in a fucking city park. This is definitely a workable plan and not just the dream of an unmedicated spastic

The sports fields in that park are all artificial turf, and most of the rest of the park is actually a capped reservoir. There isn't enough soil depth for crops to establish roots, the soil isn't fertile enough and it's probably contaminated with shit from dogs and homeless people.

Self-contained but not self-sufficient.

They are entirely dependent on the Capitalism they claim to want to destroy.

Tom Clancy lampooned the hell out of the stupidity of fighting capitalism with communism in his books. One character who grew up in Cuba even notes it's easier to use capitalism's criminal sector again itself to both hurt capitalism and benefit from it at the same time.

It's all speculation on my part but i feel like a right leaning commune would put them to work, if they were good let them stay if they aren't good then they are kicked out.
There's no such thing as a right leaning commune. The Israeli Moshav ovdim model might be the best model for a right leaning community

The first moshav was established in the Jezreel, or Yizreel, Valley (Emeq, Yizreel is also seen as the Valley of Esdraelon in English) in 1921. In 1986 about 156,700 Israelis lived and worked on 448 moshavim, the great majority divided among eight federations. There are two types of moshavim, the more numerous (405) moshavim ovdim, and the moshavim shitufim. The former relies on cooperative purchasing of supplies and marketing of produce; the family or household is, however, the basic unit of production and consumption. The moshav shitufi form is closer to the collectivity of the kibbutz: although consumption is family-or household-based, production and marketing are collective. Unlike the moshavim ovdim, land is not allotted to households or individuals, but is collectively worked.

Because the moshav form retained the family as the center of social life and eschewed bold experiments with communal child-rearing or equality of the sexes, it was much more attractive to traditional Oriental immigrants in the 1950s and early 1960s than was the more communally radical kibbutz. For this reason, the kibbutz has remained basically an Ashkenazi institution, whereas the moshav has not. On the contrary, the so-called immigrants' moshav (moshav olim) was one of the most-used and successful forms of absorption and integration of Oriental immigrants, and it allowed them a much steadier ascent into the middle class than did life in some development towns.

Re: everyone who says to turn off power.

I know a guy who works as an electrical engineer on the power grid, designing the substations that literally power this country. Getting this info from him directly:

He's never been to Seattle, but judging by the mess of power lines, the city's power structure was likely very poorly planned out. At least in area CHAZ is.

However, regardless of this, so long as everything is up to code, every so often there will be a breaker, which means one can easily remove power from specific sections of the city without disturbing those around it.

Shutting off power and water would be a very simple task in this regard. Alternatively what the NG could do is drop power from all but a small section of the commune, which would effectively force anyone who wanted to charge their electronic devices/locate a vein to shoot up some heroine into a small area, making it very easy to flush them out all at once.

Also consider that there would be no public streetlights in operation. You would still have the glow from the rest of the city, but the insides of buildings would not be a great place to seek shelter, as they would be pitch dark. So such a tactic would be most effective at night.

Generators are always a thing, but in a city like Seattle it's not like they will have the gas to maintain it. It's not like you can just hook a generator up to the fucking power lines, it doesnt work that way. At most they would have the capabilities to charge a couple devices at a time. But that would require organization and a lack of infighting about who gets to charge their phone first.

Situation is stupid as hell and I cannot wait to see it crash in burn on livestream. But given how simple it would be to shut this whole thing down with a flick of a switch, I say let them do what they wa t. Think of it as a child throwing a tantrum. Let the kid exhaust himself before sending them to bed without supper. They will see how horribly this pans out and for a vast majority, it will crush their spirits.

If you lads have any questions about the grid/optics of the power system, let me know. He's very knowledgeable and I dont know enough to ask him the right questions.
Thank you for the info! How long do you think they'll last, all things considered?

Just think about how unstable this movement is for a second. it's based on group think, and statistically no two people share the same opinions about everything. It's only a matter of time before one of two things happens.

1) People begin to disagree on 'important' topics.

and

2) People start getting suspicious and start spreading rumors. "Well, rumor has it that Tim is actually working with the cops" or "Martha said she likes white guys better, she's a white supremacist.

I really hope these people understand that it's only a matter of time before they're 'wrong'.
