The camp above the I-5/I-90 interchange in the first scene of that video was cleaned up late last year. But even if it was still there, these LARPers would never set up there. CHAZ/CHOP was in a prime location if all you wanted to do was LARP in the day and go back to your mom's basement at night. It was right next to a light rail station and in walking distance of the downtown transit nexus, with plenty of restaurants and grocery stores still open just blocks away. Seattle's homeless camps tend to be in areas that are much less desirable, like freeway greenbelts, underneath bridges, or the sidewalks around the shelters in Pioneer Square (the original Skid Row) and International District. But yes, you're more or less right, these trust-fund commie LARPers are afraid of setting up in the camps because as much as they like to virtue signal about "our unhoused neighbors", they know just how brutal and depraved the people are in those camps.

Also, rocket science, materials, and manufacturing have come a long way since the original Gyrojet. Hell, maybe you could fit guidance to them now and make the guided bullets in Runaway a reality. Though a bit of Googling turns up that there was a US project to produce .50 guided bullets that got to the proof of concept stage before being canned.
