Is Sonichu smoking a cigar or pooping out of his mouth?
Shoving a vegetable down his throat? Maybe, even a . . .

I think I was on the honor roll here and there throughout school. I never felt it important enough to mention on any applications (college or employment)Really though, for those who get honor roll, does it even legitimately mean anything after you graduate? Or nah?
Most private schools are hardly any better, though, especially the religious ones. The only advantage private schools have over public schools is private schools get to choose who attends. Public schools have to take all comers, and if they waste a disproportionate amount of resources trying to educate the ineducable at the expense of other students, well too bad other students.School should be about learning. This is one of the many reasons I absolutely detest public school systems.
Pinpointing the blame is not that hard, actually. It starts higher than the students. Their parents don't care. To them the schools are just free daycare with a rubber stamp diploma at the end. When their child gets low marks for failing to attend or do homework or study for tests, they blame the teacher for "not making learning fun and interesting" or some such bullshit.it is hard to pinpoint the blame, teachers basically aren't allowed to fail a student anymore students just don't care etc.
Or it underscores how incredibly bad the Chandlers are at throwing anything away. Given the age of the high school artifacts, it's possible they survived the fire so well because they were at the bottom of a pile kept safe from heat and oxygen. Also I'm not certain from these pics how much of the staining on them is from the fire and how much is foxing.Any and all hoarding jokes aside, the fact that Chris kept all his homework from his MHS days really underscores how important that time in his life was to him.
Chris would have been just as good at chemistry as he is at drafting. So instead of Sonichu we would have gotten the house fire on an accelerated schedule. Also, Chris as a chemist is a recipe for a lab explosion, just sayin'. There's no way he'd follow all the safety procedures.
That's not actually that dangerous. I'd be more concerned about theY'know, like not using a beaker that once held hydrochloric acid to hold your Fanta.
Just about anyone who works to earn it, you mean. Or at least that's how it used to (and should) be.This is why that honor roll crap never flew with me. Just about anyone can get on the honor roll in the U.S. /offhandedbigotry![]()
Time was when it meant you were performing exceptionally in school, though. Like top 5% ranked by GPA and classes. And even the bottom classes required some effort and learning to get an A. Of course this was before the massive grade inflation we've had in recent decades. An inflated scale that lets Chris get a D instead of the F he deserved goes all the way to the top, and we start seeing students who earned Cs getting Bs and As just for attendance. The rot started back in the 60s, but it really accelerated in the bullshit "letting everyone succeed" egalitarianism and "teaching self esteem" touchy feely crap that came in when 60s kids started teaching and (even worse) administrating back in the 80s.Bullshit is a strong word. It is what it is. Basically it means you are performing acceptably in school.
Wouldn't it be more accurate to detest standardized testing then? Teachers hate it for specifically that reason.School should be about learning. This is one of the many reasons I absolutely detest public school systems.
"How would you feel if your job required you to work in another location?"
"That's very nice of you, but I prefer to stay here"
Godamn it, Chris.
I think it's important at this point to make clear that there is a difference between individual schools' debased "honor rolls" and the National Honor Society, which is a meaningful thing still. Chris might have made honor roll by getting good grades in shitty classes (thought we now know he didn't even do that), but no fucking way in hell was he NHS.
Wait you can letter as part of NHS? Like the letter you get by playing high school sports?I was in NHS in my last two or three semesters of high school. It wasn't much in the long run, gave me something to letter in, but you had to do other stuff like community events (like a cancer survivors run)
Where are you getting all this homework?!
Also if Chris was an air quality control manager I'd move as far away as possible.
The best resume Chris has ever written, and it's not even real.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=h-p5WRN0-f4All this chemistry and navy drink talk has reminded me of his magical man potion.
I see they give them away.I lettered for four years of marching band
