Chris Avellone MeToo'd

I'd bet he spent most of the last year wrestling with his progressive politics. "Maybe I actually did do it, women never lie...".
Now it seems like he's ready to fight like a bear and bull.
I have no idea how to rate this post and I hate it and I hate you for posting it.

didint he apologize when it all happen? that alone is enough to fuck over your case. he could blame it on alcohol so he was not in his right stage of mind but, i dunno. if he did what angry joe did and just shut up and sue, things could have gone his way.

He did file a lawsuit, though.
Sounds like he used the past year to prepare for that, and the whole "allow voices to be heard" takes on a different note when he explicitly wants his accusers to talk more, suggesting that they'll fuck themselves up.

So, what are his chances to prevail in court?

Will he be able to prove all of (1) falsehood, (2) malice, and (3) damages, or will he end like Vic?

How do you sue someone after you essentially confessed to everything like a flaming soy-filled cuck?

He stated that he apologized to Jackie for the breakup, not to anyone else or for anything else. Let's hope that this will hold up in court.

I think these are the apology tweets in question:

EDIT:
lol, apparently Jackie is a gook:

EDIT 2:
According to this tweet, both his accusers (Karissa and Kelly) are bipolar. Evidence cited:
...but I haven't verified that those are really their accounts.

What is it with mentally ill convention groupies, and male industry professionals' inability to stay away of them?

I think you're absolutely right. Who gives someone 12 months to state their case before responding? Maybe conversations are very long-winded in the Avellone household, or maybe his regressive brain disease was convincing him he was at-fault. It sounds like he's thinking clearly now.

This paragraph that he wrote is particularly potent:
This next bit might surprise you: I didn’t fight any of this. You can’t. Cancel culture being what it is, the companies can’t fight it either, or else they are attacked, too. Companies can’t even ask for time to “look into it” without coming across as not believing the accusations, as unfounded as they are, because even the hint of a delay or wanting to find out more will be judged and will get them canceled, too. And no one wants to get canceled, even if it means turning your back on someone else getting canceled, even someone you’d worked with in the trenches for years.

No shit, Chris. Did you honestly think this was a good thing before it happened to you? More prominent people need to speak out against this shit, preferably before they get canceled themselves.

iirc, slazo did something similar and ended up shredding his accusation

Those gosh-darned far-right natzees have claimed yet another huwhite male. Clearly, they must be stopped.

On a serious note, it never ceases to amaze me how progressives are their own worst enemies. Good on MCA for finally crossing the Rubicon. These women deserve nothing more than a roundhouse asskicking.
