Chris-Chan: A Comprehensive History

If you're interested in lolcow culture, I don't see how you can be against the site. Even if you're against the culture and by extension trolling as well, I don't see why in that circumstance either. We are not a community dedicated to trolling or fucking with people. We simply like to document both the antics of cows and the trolls that fuck with them. At our core we are just a variance of the 90's audience that enjoyed the trashy entertainment that grew throughout the decade.

This community and it's owner went out of their way to help Chris while trying to protect him from trolls looking to fuck with him. When the crime was ultimately revealed, this community played a part in exposing the psychopaths that helped egg him on.
The site is an massive resource when it comes to lolcow culture, and Null and most of the community have been fair in either staying out of way of, or even assisting lolcows who are looking for help. Chris being the best example. But one of the defining features of freedom of speech here (within reason), sometimes hits territories that can been seen as unethical or controversial. Primarily doxxing and in some occasions, alerting people in the lowcow's life to their online nature. Not to comment either way on it, but as much as a resource kiwifarms is, commenting on it or associating with it in a positive light can attract opinionated detractors who vilify anyone not condemning the website or those on it.

In my opinion, I appreciate the ability to find strange individuals at a click of a button, and get hours of entertainment, but I can understand why someone wouldn't like or want to be associated with this website if they don't have to. It sucks there's that reputation, but I think it's understandable.

Sorry for the no archive, but I saw this in my notifications and had to bring this over here just incase it was mention worthy. It just uploaded.
Since It’s not been mentioned yet. Geno says near the end of the episode he’s been contacted by producers to make an actual Chris Chan documentary but nothing definite yet. If it does happen it would be interesting what they keep in and omit from the documentary.

Anything less than a Tiger King style documentary series where you interview Chris, Null, Liquid Chris, Megan, etc. is wasted potential imo.

@SamuellyGenie you'd better be taking notes, this could be the only shot at bringing Chris's story to a normie audience!

How long until Chris claims his first victim?
What was the quote again?
“Battle not with monsters, lest ye become a monster, and if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.” - Nietzsche's

Times truly have changed, kind of sad how things turned out for Chris but it is bound to happen

It's honestly too soon to make a feature about Chris when there's still stuff happening to him IRL that could date the product by not being comprehensive enough. With Geno's series I can understand since it's an effort to showcase all the documentation he had over the years. Unless there's an attempt to bring out new information via interviews and the like, it doesn't look like the best move.

I mean I guess it would be prudent to wait til we see what sentencing he gets, but what else is there in store for Chris? Surely this is the end of the road for him.

Geno's documentary is already a good documentary.
If his story should be adapted as a dramatic biopic, it should be a nine-part epic split into three trilogies, with each individual film being around three to four hours long.
After each trilogy has been released in cinemas and home video, they would be re-released in a TV series format which would be around 12 episodes per trilogy (which would now be a season) and each episode would be an hour long.
The order of release/production would go: Original Trilogy --> Prequel Trilogy --> Sequel Trilogy

This would also establish a Chris-chan Cinematic Universe with similarly comprehensive biopics based on Randy Stair, Elliot Rodgers, DSP, Bella Janke, Bob the Internet Lumberjack, Channel Awesome, and many, many more, as long as they somehow tie into the main Chris-chan lore. They would be linked together with a fourth-wall breaking KiwiFarms Lurker, probably played by Geno Samuel, who would be a blend of Uatu the Watcher and Deadpool.

It could even go into different lolcows not associated with Chris like DSP, even if they would just be Expanded Universe content similar to how the Marvel Netflix shows connect to the MCU. There could even be a What If...? spinoff series for the Chris-chan Cinematic Universe containing one-shot What If...? stories around the Chris-chan lore.

Chris-chan is possibly the grandest epic known to man, even more than anything in Greek mythology or any superhero comic book. The Motherfucking Saga makes Avengers: Endgame look like The Rise of Skywalker by comparison.

Yeah but imagine the amount of autism that will come from it. A Comprehensive History already inspired so many weens who don't know the rules of lolcow watching, like ILJ and co. The Chris-Chan Cinematic Universe would probably ruin lolcow watching as we know it.

To be fair the era of the lolcow already died years ago, with political correctness through the roof on almost every communication platform, governments censoring "hate speech" left, right and centre, and court orders and take down notices getting sent to various websites for things that god forbid, are of a different opinion and go against the hivemind/status quo. Nothing here is genuinely considered outright illegal, just a moral grey area on the subject matter of various threads.

It's thanks to the farms that we're able to experience lolcow watching from afar, we know the site doesn't have the best history and the website's reputation has been tarnished by certain groups throughout lolcow history, but we're able to diminish weenery pretty quickly by making an example of them, but at the same time not threatening with severe punishment, just accepting them as another adequate contributor to the discussion.

You can't really say the same with most social media, saying/doing the "wrong" thing or potentially breaching ambiguous rules can wound people up in situations that can't be mended or resolved.

An entirely new perspective centred on Chris would just bring about the same sort misguided understanding of CWC we've all witnessed from various orbiters before, and it would be even easier to pick out the weens from most of that new crowd.

You retards sure love talking about the olden days while also conveniently forgetting about the oldest rule of all. Lurk moar.
People have been on the internet longer then their join date on a website you know that? Plus I have lurked more, at least for a few years before I signed up.

Say that to flashback. 20 years old but top 5 most visited page in Sweden. allthough it's broader than lolcowdom, the political incorrectnes and anonomisity have made that site what it is today. the governemt and twitterlefties do their best to forbid the free speech it stands for... Sound familiar? oh and openly admit you have an account there makes normies call you racist. allthough it's not bound to any political side. butsince commies tend to loose an honest debate they most often shun the site.

perhaps a off_topic ramble by me but Kiwi ain't the only fighters for freedom off expression and free speech.

Yes and no. It's a fairly comprehensive archive of Chris' life and times but includes wholly unreasonable amounts of extraneous information and often fails to investigate the truth of what is being presented.

For example, Chris being unable to speak until age six (seven?) did not come as a result of him being traumatized by a babysitter. That was a yarn spun by his parents that they used in order to avoid acknowledging that their son was a retard. It's a perfect example of their inadequacy as parents and Chris' inability to speak for so long is some of the best direct evidence we have of his severe mental deficiencies that can't be excused as autism.
You'd think that in a story about an autistic and retarded sexual predator you'd want to shine a spotlight on the best material that illustrates his condition.

Wasting hours upon hours on the tedium that are post-troon facebook ramblings isn't just boring but also irrelevant.

A better doc would skim through a lot of it.
I think Geno's trying to be objective as possible by reading everything in the CWCki, but it's impossible, given Chris' personality. Even more so now with him in jail. But I do agree with you that skimming it would be a good option.
