No offense, but if you think all he's doing is reading cwcki pages, chances are you've never gone through the painfully slow process that is content selection, subtitle timing and editing in general (audio in particular, way worse than video at least for me).
He also does pretty good work when it comes to subtle audio queues (most noticeable when the violins come on fx during the unclit saga). I wouldn't trudge through all this shit for the sum he currently gets on Patreon.

Maybe it's just a nostalgia thing but the only person I can think of who did a Chris thing better was Vivian/Clyde, Old Narrator and Dethchemist with the audiobooks. DStecks wasn't terrible but updates took literal years, Dillin is okay but I don't need to hear that Chris is a retard 3 times in a video. Based Shaman making Chris sound like an insane preacher in the religion videos was great otherwise its stuff I've been reading for over a decade just read by this guy with a scratchy voice.

Of all the new people Geno seems genuinely the best. Maybe it's also that I like Dry Humor and he's providing me with that. When he quotes Chris it's a deadpan delivery until Chris types in all caps and it makes me laugh. I don't understand the hate he's getting as he's doing this from the most neutral perspective and tone he can to the point even Chris himself is engaging and if I can read anything that gets him to stop actually reflect a little instead of just acting like he's a psychic I'll take it.

Again Vivian/Clyde is the best example I can give. Chris raged over the Audiobooks and wanted that person dead. Now with Geno, a lot of the insults and comedy kind of fly over his head. Geno isn't giving him cash and isn't being a total asshole, so I don't see what the problem is beyond people just not liking how he does something and making cash.

It's the same guy as Clyde, Fil-Amies, and Miyamoto. Nobody I know of has heard from him in ages. I don't doubt they still lurk and will probably laugh at us speculating where he is now.

First of all, when I found out Vivian wasn't a real person, I didn't know what to think, it was actually really disappointing. I always thought she was some girl who genuinely tried to help Chris, realized he's a lost cause, and then joined the trolls, then she remorseful and closed her account.

Second, I think the reason Chris isn't freaking out over Geno and making death threats at him is because Chris has mellowed out a bit over the years, and is no longer so paranoid over trolls that he thinks everyone who even looks at him is a troll. Sure he's still high strung about a lot of things, but if Geno were doing this exact same thing 10 years ago, it would get the same reaction that the audiobooks got. Instead, Chris watches it and gets some enjoyment out of it.

It's a shame that a bunch of weens harassed him off Kiwi, I know that some of the things he did to Chris were considered "fucked up" but considering that Chris sees laws protecting children against stripping in public as "dumb" I don't really feel bad for him.

Another reason I think Chris isn't sending death threats towards Geno is that in some cases, Geno has catered to Chris and this can be seen in Part 43 when he starts calling Chris by she/her pronouns because of Chris throwing a temper tantrum in the comments when Geno called him a guy, I felt like Geno should've just stuck to his guns and kept calling Chris by he/him pronouns just so we could see how immature Chris really is.

I got introduced to this by a friend of mine and I only made it to 10 episodes before realizing Chris was going to be doing the same shit over and over again. That and his actions/personality/behavior/lack of empathy really pissed me off.

I have stuck to my guns. Switching pronouns was always the plan.

It's whatever. If you want to stay monetized and recommended on YouTube you have to use preferred pronouns, especially since Chris surprisingly has become almost an icon in the post-Tumblr-refugee-crisis Twitter-sphere.

Agreed. He was 13 (I think) at the time. We all did fucked up stuff as teenagers (probably not making a retarded man shove a medal up his ass fucked up granted.), and he should get a pass for it as an adult. Especially because he was trying to impress the older and "cooler" crowd.

Ironically enough he was probably the most socially successful around that time; 2016-2017 iirc. Even if he was merely tolerated, the LBGTQ crowd made him feel the most welcome he ever felt and he had no major incidents nor did he feel paranoid about trolls being everywhere.

Wasn't that one of the periods when he was off of the internet though? Chris usually does better when he goes dark but that hasn't been the case for years
