Will, it seems Chris has gotten himself in quite the pickle now hasn't he? Maybe this was what he meant by he would do worse in his message reply to segas email system. Thank God it was only pepper spray and not something worse, like his pocket knife or a gun.

If I still don't hear from him in the next 24 hours or so, I may just break radio silence (because an occasion like this warrants it IMO).
So do you plan to resurrect Renee as a character? I ask because I think it is a bit much merely for a quick check if he's released on bail or something like that. Reviving Renee could could confirm his beliefs that his texting/relationship behaviour is okay and will definitely undo your attempts to quit.

Ok going to mention this here. Used to work at something that gave "Planet Wide Bans"
In reality they are a more of a fear tactic to keep people away. Largely unenforced unless a person constantly makes a problem out of themselves if they go to another store.

So say Chris goes to a gamestop in another town that doesn't know about him. He would be allowed to do whatever, but if he started causing problems and he got banned and they found out he had a planet wide ban already they can charge him for trespassing.

Largely unenforced though and Chris is still "welcome" at gamestops anywhere else int he world as long as he behaves himself.

but Chris would be easy to recognize if he went to a Gamestop in NYC or CA if they sent out a company wide memo with his photo

I was just able to find the incident on the archived recording of the Charlottesville Police dispatch radio (For what it's worth, this happened shortly after 2PM it looks like). Working on getting a copy online. It's badly distorted and cuts out but luckily captures the dispatcher communicating the best part.

EDIT 1: An officer relays that Mall Security "Knows who he is". So people who doubted that anybody still cared... Well, they do.

EDIT 2: From what I'm hearing, several officers showed up to search the parking lot and mall for him, and mall security did the same. This is serious stuff.

EDIT 3: The police called Barb. Barb claimed he was driving a "Blue Ford Focus" but she didn't know his plate and didn't know his phone number. It sounds like the police also tried to call Chris.

EDIT 4: It sounds like the police themselves notified the other GameStops in the area, as police are dispatched to a different GameStop when a blue ford focus is seen in the parking lot.

EDIT 5: Chris knocked on some MALE's car window in the Fashion Square parking lot. Said male promptly called the police.

EDIT 6: I cannot say this with 100% accuracy, but from what I just heard, Chris may have been taken into custody.

EDIT 7: "He went into Sears and caused issues and left about 30 minutes ago."
Dude, is this info for real? :)

Wow. Just...wow. Never though she would go this low, but apparently her fashion sense just isn't as fabulous as she would like to make it sound.

...oh right, she also assaulted an employee who wanted to throw her out because she vandalized a display. I have no idea wtf went through her brain in that moment, but I am with KatsuKitty on this one, jailtime and Bubba is coming, and soon at that if they are pressing charges.

This recording is nearly two hours long and starts with the initial (garbled, partial) police dispatch. What follows is two hours of police radio traffic which includes other crimes being responded to. I can't understand it half the time, but through this you will learn that...

...The police called Barb and Chris.
...Chris knocked on someone's window in the parking lot.
...Chris also caused "trouble" at the Sears store.
...Chris' "new car" is actually registered to Barb.
...Chris MAY HAVE BEEN taken into custody, but it's hard to tell. A "suspect in custody" call does immediately precede them running his plates, though.

I don't think the last 30 minutes have anything relating to this incident, but I included them in case someone can understand more than I could. I listen to the scanner as a hobby, and can usually understand what most people can't, but this is probably the worst I've ever heard.

Damn. If this is legit, he is in it deep now.

The recording is hard to understand. In the first minute, all I could hear was "Fashion Square Mall" and describing him as "male, 5 foot 9, long brown hair, two sets of glasses, and fake breasts. His name is supposed to be Christopher Chandler." Fake breasts...they're going to be surprised when they search him...
At 10 and a half minutes in they start talking about him again. At 10:49 they say he is wearing a pink miniskirt! lol

EDIT: they talk about him at 20:30, 23:08, 25:12 "Mall security's gonna spread out. They know who he is. ?They are going to come in mobile units? He tried to make a run for it."

I like how we're practically at jury selection for OPL's assault/battery/assault with a deadly weapon trial and we have no confirmation of him actually being arrested.

FWIW, I think him saying, "Don't call anybody" probably should have had, "I'm leaving" as part of it. He was leaving as told and didn't think the jerkops should be called.

As for the mace, Chris is extremely paranoid these days and i wouldn't be at all surprised to hear he regularly carries some sort of self defense (pathetic though it may be) because trolls. A pink can of pepper spray on the keys would be stereotypical female to him, so he's going to do it. I imagine a combination of anger and righteous indignation/sass caused him to spray the guy. I cannot help but think he thought he might get away with it (which he certainly might) because he's clearly a delicate female flower in fear of bodily harm instead of being an almost six foot manbaby in hobowear.

Well that's possible but I'm inclined to believe that's something Chris has always done, when he's defeated he always wants to get one more shot in so he can feel like he won. He has to kill Simonla? He kills the Asperpedia 4 too. He's on trial for hitting Snyder? He calls him a greedy jew during the trial. He has to apologise for something? He adds some lines to make the apology into a bunch of accusations and ways its not his fault. Whenever Chris is told he has to do something, he thinks if he does it he can chuck anything extra in that he wants as long as he does the one thing he was told to do, so he tries to get some shots in so he can be smug about it. Honestly, I'm really glad that shit has finally backfired on him.

If you take a good look at the video you'll see that Chris already has the mace in his hand, ready to go as he's walking towards the front of the store: this makes it seem like it was somewhat planned in advance.
Yeah. He's making his brisk exit and the yellow-shirted guy walks toward him. Chris was obviously watching for anyone trying to block him on the way out and planned ahead to mace anyone trying to stop him. This guy looked likely. So: maced!

Chriss isnt going to get jail time for this, He will get banned from the mall but this kind of thing can get solved with some bail money, Barb is going to have to ask for a loan if she doesnt want chriss to spend a year in jail or a mental institution if they take him to court and they decide to use his mental state to avoid him getting butt raped every day... but maybe thats what he wants
